WASHINGTON (AP) — The top House and Senate Democrats said Wednesday they had reached agreement with President Donald Trump to protect thousands of younger immigrants from deportation and fund some border security enhancements — not including Trump’s long-sought border wall.
The deal announced by Senate Democratic Leader Chuck Schumer and House Democratic Leader Nancy Pelosi following a White House dinner would enshrine protections for the nearly 800,000 immigrants brought illegally to this country as kids who had benefited from former President Barack Obama’s Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals, or DACA, program. The program provided temporary work permits and protection from deportation.

I’m not convinced they do.
I think people need to realize that it’s the mostly been the Democrats who have prevented the DACA kids from being legalized. They are the literal poster children for “comprehensive immigration reform”; without them in the picture, amnesty for the other 10-20 million is dead. I’m fine if Trump makes this deal, with or without anything else connected to it.

Which do you believe, the wall-to-wall coverage that a deal was struck or the late night White House denial? I suspect there is a deal and we are not going to be happy about it. End of day looks like Congress and White House are going to give illegal aliens AMNESTY. We must speak up, scream, make clear that this cannot occur. Kill it. NO AMNESTY.
A favorite tactic of Democrats on the more radical social left is to make false claims devised to cause infighting between conservatives. Their followers (radical feminists and homosexual activists) also troll discussion boards—sometimes, for decades—to further drive the infighting.
Pelosi, Schumer and the Associated Press girls most likely made a false statement there for the purpose of causing infighting between conservatives.
We’ll have to figure out what the truth is here and I don’t think that’s clear yet.
I think the business elites want cheap labor in this country and have plenty of $$$$$$ to buy both political parties into that notion.
From what I understand the White House is denying that President Trump has given up on the wall.

A source briefed on the meeting confirmed to Fox News that Trump and the leaders agreed to pair the DREAM Act, which provides for giving young illegal immigrants eventual citizenship, with some measures enhancing border security. You might be right but it's possible it won't so what really needs to happen is some kind of group of lawyers need to look at it and see. If it takes an amendment it won't get done until we have a Constitutional Convention.

Trump has dragged nobody “kicking and screaming”. Instead he has abandoned his promises and his base. He hasn’t lifted a finger to fight for a Wall, punting on every opportunity to get it funded - of which DACA was his strongest negotiating chance yet.
