Clinton made the excuse during an interview with NPR’s Rachel Martin during a promotional tour of her book, “What Happened.”
In the interview, Clinton was asked why, given that she was the first female presidential candidate, she fared worse than expected among female voters.
In typical Clinton fashion, she deflected the blame, suggesting that women who voted against her were somehow manipulated by men in their lives. She also claimed that “sexism” from supporters of Bernie Sanders might have played a part in her poor showing among female voters.

I find this comment odd and unnecessary.
My wife, of her own free will, voted against Hillary (thus, for Trump). It was a difficult decision for her, until it was not.
Hillary, who shunned public questions for months, did not do herself any favors with her election season AWOL, and her lies and deceit were there for anyone with curiosity, literally SCARED citizens into voting for Trump.
Trump's greatest spokesperson?

My mom was the first pro-Trump person in our extended family, and not out of any interest at all in his celebrity or charisma. She focused upon the “Make America Great Again” themes from the start and thought that he was clearly the only candidate in either party who was offering some hope for that. MAGA!!!!

That’s how it works. I told my wife to vote for Trump and she said, “yes dear, I will do whatever you say, even if I think HRC is better.”

I can’t wait to discuss all of this with my mom tomorrow, who will be utterly outraged and disgusted by Hillary, yet again.
My mom was on the MAGA train from the start, before anyone else I knew. And not out of any interest in Trump’s celebrity and fame, she looked at what his campaign’s ideas stood for as MAGA and she was onboard with that immediately.
My mom was an accomplished professional woman when Hillary was still a schoolgirl. Mom does not look to leftist feminists for validation or to get to the “first woman president” no matter what her ideas and record may be.
That’s right, Clinton, keep insulting half the population, and over a quarter of the voters. Just keep doing it.
