ESPN has taken to Twitter to comment on host Jemele Hill calling President Trump a white supremacist.
"The comments on Twitter from Jemele Hill regarding the President do not represent the position of ESPN," the network stated on Tuesday. "We have addressed this with Jemele and she recognizes her actions were inappropriate."

lol. I’ll have to find a video of it.
Some here say she was ok.
Rex was annoying as coach of the Jets.
The past 40 years have been annoying as fan of the Jets.
Hard to enjoy winning the superbowl much at the age of 1.
I think she did a very good job technically (she is very smooth and knowledgeable) but not sure I like her voice. That could be because it is so different that it will just take getting used to. Rex Ryan was knowledgeable but not very smooth. That pajama guy sideline reporter was embarrassing.
ESPN forgot what the “E” in ESPN stands for.
That one thing it is not...entertainment.
I guess it would have been DP! (I did win a pile of dough on that Jet’s win though! It is still my favorite all-time Super Bowl game.)
Bobby!!!!!!!!!!
Khan!!!!!!!!!!!!
ESPN is so sensitive to racial issues that they’ll remove an asian guy name Bob Lee from announcing a football game because he has the same name as a Confederate General but they won’t do anything to Jemele Hill who called the President of the United States a “ White Supremacist”.
If any ESPN commentator had dared to criticize Obama, let alone make outrageous accusations like this, she or he would be instantly fired. No questions asked, no appeal.
I turned off the station. ESPN as well as network NFL coverage, in general, sucks. The NFL wants us to believe the issue is "concussions." If that is the case, then NCAA games would be off in similar amounts. Not even close. The issue is not football; but the NFL.
‘Endless Stupid Political Nagging’: Tucker Blasts ESPN After Anchor Calls Trump a ‘White Supremacist’
ESPN’s public relations later tweeted a statement, saying that Hill’s comments do not represent the position of the Bristol, Conn. network.
Carlson called ESPN “Endless Stupid Political Nagging” and asked Fox Sports’ Clay Travis what he thought of Hill’s attack.
Travis said ESPN’s statement is another example of Hill’s politics “going all the way to the top.”
He said parent company Disney CEO Bob Iger and ESPN president John Skipper hold left-wing views, and that of the 59 people Iger follows on Twitter, Hill is one of them.
“They want left-leaning politics the forward facing front of ESPN,” going on to repeat Michael Jordan’s famed warning about mixing sports and politics, “Republicans buy sneakers too.”
Travis pointed out that when former Chicago Bears coach Mike Ditka criticized President Obama in a much more minimal way, and announced his support for President Trump, he was fired from ESPN.
That was an interesting article.
ESPN=RACIST
I agree, F#%k ESPN !
Whatever it is, it sucks. I used to look forward to the games, but now, I wait for hockey.
The communists are up to their usual shenanigans.
They obviously don’t want my business so I took the hint two years ago.
Never watch the channel to pull the plug on it. So I guess I was ahead of the crowd. 8>)
The one or two times I have stumbled across Jemele Hill on Sports Center at 6 PM, I have found here to be rambling and incapable of making a point. She is unwatchable and unlistenable. If ESPN had an ounce of business sense they’d can her immediately.
I really don’t care if the broadcaster is black, white, Asian, female or whatever. It’s like anything in life. They just have to be good. And, I thought Beth Mowins was good....not earth shattering great. Good. Rex Ryan was awful. And, it’s not a personal criticism of the man. He clearly was in over his head. Now, will he get better? I hope so because I like him. Beth Mowins is a class act. She clearly studied, knew the players, understood the game. Give her a chance....not because she’s a woman. Give her a chance because she’s earned it. That’s all. By the way, Give Rex Ryan another chance too. He’s not used to being on TV.
