If this was even remotely close to true, the Chinese would make the accusation a veritable chorus.

I don’t buy it.

Liquid fueled IRBM technology is 60 years old.

Solid fueled with some accuracy is 55yrs old. The onset of the ICBM age.

I bet even Iran or Pakistan could field a reliable rocket force./s

If this is the Prof. Nemets I think it is, then judging from what he's written and been quoted as saying over the years there's bad blood between he and Putin dating all the way back to when Putin was a small time politician in Petersburg and possibly all the way back to when Putin was at Petersburg State University.

IMHo, you can't rule anything out yet when it comes to NK including criminals in Russia, Ukraine, and half of Eastern Europe, but the leads to engines from Ukraine and missile help from either Iran or Pakistan are more likely.

With missiles that can't get anywhere near the US, NK can incinerate a lot of Chinese, Russians, or Indians. Consider who likes the idea of those countries being targets when you're considering any of them as possible sources of the sudden leap in NK technology. After all, whoever is responsible is going to carefully lay false trails along with covering their own tracks.

JMHo, (and just like butt-holes, everyone has one)

Before we go running off screaming just consider who wants conflict between the USA and Russia. Frankly I don’t think Putin does. The World Bank and Soros on the other hand would profit immensely.

Consider this possibility.

North Korea’s Missile Success Is Linked to Ukrainian Plant, Investigators Say

Probably more reliable than Euromaidan Press.

We need to consider all possibilities.

Including the obvious one that NK was the creation of China, and has remained under its tight control ?

I can't see it any other way.

Aside from the history, it's so perfect for them! ( i.e. China ) ... what a set up!

To me, it's a joke!

I have read that Russia and Ukraine both helped North Korea’s rocket program, along with China, Pakistan and Iran.

Ukraine tricked North Korean spies into trying to steal fake nuke plans on camera.

The specific plans the spies thought they were capturing showed schematics for the SS-24 Scalpel intercontinental ballistic missile, a Soviet-designed missile that can carry 10 independently targetable warheads across vast distances. Such a weapon would be a massive improvement over North Korea’s current fledgling ICBM fleet.

But the designs photographed by the North Koreans were fake, and moments after the cameras flashed authorities broke into the room and detained them. The spies are now serving eight years in prison.
