A Republican senator who was once on Donald Trump's short list for a Cabinet spot but has since feuded with the president could be targeted by a primary challenger backed by Steve Bannon.
Trump's former chief strategist is seeking primary challenges to several GOP senators, including Sen. Bob Corker, of Tennessee, the chair of the Senate Foreign Relations Committee, according to Politico and CNN.

Corker is considering retirement.
And I believe there are three of four RINOs in the House of Representatives that say they will not run again.

Bannon needs to take a hike. For him this is personal, and nothing in politics is personal. He is endangering our Senate majority, which we must have to pass Trump’s judicial appointments.

So you enjoy the gridlock that has been brought to us by the Never Trumpers like Corker?

The Trump effect. He ‘retires’ rather than face reality and put up a big fight. Saving face. Kinda like Mexican immigration going down without a wall being built. Now just build it b4 a Democrat president decides to not enforce the laws.

I don’t care about Democrats. I only care that they be a permanent minority.

Al Republicans have voted for Trump’s judicial appointments. No grid lock there.

“nothing in politics is personal.”
Do you even vote?

So?
Supporting one aspect of his policies does not a pattern make!
Get back to me when they quit purposefully dragging their feet on ObamaCare, Immigration, the Wall, and Tax-cuts.
Then you might have a point!

Can he recruit challengers to the execrable NC Rebub senators? I moved here from Los Angeles in 2015,happily leaving Boxer and Feinstein behind. I’m more than disappointed in NC’s two apparently never-Trump senators.

Bannon is doing what he needs to do to keep the senate majority. I think he sees into the Rino’s perfidious minds and souls better than Trump does...he’s been a street fighter all his life. So we shall see.

Isn’t he recruiting a challenger for Cruz and Lee?

Judicial appointments are the second most important thing a President does. Launching missiles is the first. Keep in mind that Kennedy and Ginsburg are about to retire/die. Should Trump be able to appoint their successors, we will control the Court for a generation.
Look at how liberal judges have stalled Trump’s agenda.
