There has been a lot of buildup ahead of Ben Shapiro‘s speaking engagement at UC Berkeley. Between the university initially blocking him from its campus and its efforts to limit the crowd size, it’s becoming quite the anticipated event.

We’ll know Berkeley (non-STEM, of course) has tried to steer a course back toward being a real college when the “counseling” offered these ‘tards is on which Starbucks to apply for a job at after their silly little non-IQ butts are expelled.
I really do wonder what the real intellects there (Physics, Math, etc) think that folks conjure up when thinking of the idiots getting TV time have the school’s name tacked on.

Even in engineering, why should I hire a Berzerkley grad? Years ago, I had worked with one who was a chemical engineering grad, and she was a bit of a Maoist as well. She cheered for the tanks at Tien An Mein Square - no exaggeration.

I know he wrote a book about the damage pornography has done to western culture, so they aren’t likely to be happy with him about that. Yet he also has a lot of liberal leanings as well.
I guess I see him as a more articulate Bill O’Reilly.
