Teen girl swims across lake to escape 'nightmare' kidnapping
A Minnesota teen who was kidnapped for almost a month swam across a lake Tuesday to escape her abductors, officials said.
The teenager, from Alexandria, Minn., made it safely across the lake before running onto a property where she received help, CBS Minnesota reported.
Authorities said the young girl was kidnapped on Aug. 8 by Thomas Barker, 32, who urged the teen to get into his car and drove her to a residence in Carlos. Barker, his roommate and another friend physically and sexually assaulted the teenager, officials said.

I agree. I will let you know I just posted something that is haunting me.

Looks like antifa is everywhere.
Jasmine Block, 15, is missing from her home on North McKay Avenue in Alexandria, Minnesota. She was last seen around 1 p.m. on Monday, August 7th, 2017 near the Cetral Lakes Trail with two other teens and a man in his 30s, riding bikes. Source
Am I the only person beginning to wonder if we've heard the full truth here?
When I saw the photo of her with her mom after her escape, it seemed rather eerie to me. She just looked too calm and relaxed. There's no reflection on her face of the dire situation she had just been in for 29 days.
Is it possible she went along willingly at first, and then was betrayed by the main figure?
Is it possible she made up the whole story so she could be reunited with her mom, without guilt?
Are these guys being framed for something they didn't actually do?
She may not have been assaulted by the other two. She may have only had relations with the person she wanted to, and then tired of the situation and concocted a story to protect her own actions. Some kids around this age turn very rebelious. That can be enhanced if a love interest pops up.
I toss this out, because certain things didn't add up to me. I could be as wrong as can be too, and I encourage folks to keep that in mind.
1. seen with one of the perps (quite possible as mentioned above) in a non-stress situation just before disappearing
2. very little visual harm
3. left alone to escape
4. does not look like someone who had been violated for 29 days in that after photo with her mom
Ladies (men too), if these things happened as told by the girl, I hope you know I want the penalties to be very strong. It angers me to think of this girl being abused. Not knowing her, it's my inclination to feel empathy and anger toward the perps.
Not knowing the guys, it would seem someone should feel the same way toward them, if a big portion of this story was made up. We've seen stories like this one go South before, so I'm just tossing this out for consideration.

“She just looked too calm and relaxed. There’s no reflection on her face of the dire situation she had just been in for 29 days.”
Maybe some drugs to help her cope for a while...? Don’t know.
More than one consensual sex encounter has turned into rape when discovered by family. Knee jerk hang em is dangerous. But statutory rape charge could still be prosecuted even if girl gave willing consent.
There may be simple explanations for all this. I’ll grant you that.
Those college guys accused of rape by that young woman years ago, has had me scratching my head at times.
You always want to believe the woman. I don’t like to ask uncomfortable question in situations like this, but these seemed to be reasoned things to ponder.
Thank you for your comment.
Not exactly attendees at a Mensa convention
That statutory charge is certainly worthy of mentioning.
It would also seem those other guys would at the very least be guilty of knowing where this missing girl was, and not telling the authorities.
In the late 1980's I would windsurf the lakes in Minnesota. It didn't bother me much, though I may have worn a wetsuit especially in Lake Pepin (on the Mississippi River).
Lakes can warm up quickly in the summer. They have very long days in summer -- being so far North...
After hanging feed them to starving pigs. After slaughtering the pigs, send the meat to Cuckistan (Europe).
You are basing your supposition on a photo from facebook? Do you know for sure that it was taken after she escaped or is it from before she disappeared?
Did I base my thoughts on only one thing? No.
I based it on four different observations.
As for the photo, I found it here: https://www.google.com/search?q=jasmine+block&lr=&hl=en&source=lnms&tbm=isch&sa=X&ved=0ahUKEwjP4KGmj5TWAhXCrJQKHTugDv8Q_AUIDSgE&biw=1600&bih=807#imgrc=TROVF97Yd4VwWM:

There’s a video that is actually a one of six presentation.
While the photo was listed as 3 / 6 at one point, it is now two of six. Hit the right arrow at the video.
The next item will be this photo.
Hit the (i) icon on the right and this photo is revealed to have been taken the night before after Jasmine was found.
Here is more information on this case, and it tends to make my suggestion that we might not be getting all the truth, look unreasoned.
If these reports are accurate, she’s a very lucky girl.

These three need to leave the gene pool.
Forget the knife. Rip them off with a pair of pliers.
For obvious reasons, I thought of that movie too.
Reveling in torture is a weakness;where execution is appropriate it should be done in a quick and non-degrading manner.
