This is how politics is supposed to be done. The legislative body ought to create legislation. The two parties should approach this in a bipartisan manner.
If Congress fails, they can’t blame Trump.
If Congress fails, we drop the EO and enforce the body of laws we already have — which works out badly for the criminal immigrants. Oh well.
I think Trump has positioned himself very well.
That is how Planned Parenthood and Obamacare keep on being funded, working with Dems.
Why would they fail to get a bill now that Trump gave Ryan and McConnell the Green light to go for Democrat votes.
Trump owns everything he signs.
Best post of the thread!

If Congress fails, they cant blame Trump.Yep, and it can't pass without the help of Republicans AKA RINOs exposing themselves before the next election as amnesty whores. And if it's not a clean bill (they never are) it better be veto proof.
The arrogance and ignorance of McConnell and Ryan and all the other nevertrumpers has screwed themselves out of a lifetime opportunity.
Honest to God the pearl-clutching around here is depressing. Back to the Conservative Treehouse for me.

I do detest congress abdicating their duty to legislate, so I am all for scrapping eos... all of them. Why if he was so concerned about the legality of the matter, would he put a six month time limit on it? Will it be more legal or less, in six months?
DACA push, an interesting follow-on to 3 month extension of debt ceiling deadline.
