Speaker and author Rosaria Butterfield, a former lesbian, explained why she signed the Nashville Statement, which was released by a broad coalition of Christian leaders, including J. I. Packer and Francis Chan, articulating God's design for human identity as male and female.
"I stand with biblical orthodoxy, which is inseparable from God's creation mandate and definition of gendered personhood found in Genesis 1:27," Butterfield wrote in an article for the website of The Council on Biblical Manhood and Womanhood, as a reason for signing the statement.
"I signed the Nashville Statement because my conscience compels me so, because the promises of liberty on the world's terms are false and deceptive, and because many who currently claim to have Christ's forgiveness and salvation must be called to account for leading good people astray with false promises and filthy lies," she continued.
"I signed the Nashville Statement because the wolves are prowling, and the lions are roaring, and because they are bold and proud of their heresy, and because you must be warned."

I guess this hasn’t made it to the msm yet, has it?
I find all these statements tedious and boring and a waste of time no matter what direction the person is moving toward. Please people keep your sexuality and changes in same or not to your self.
Ditto.
Could most men be lesbians trapped in a man’s body and they don’t know it?
And what government subsidies should be paid?
does that fall into gender fluidity, shape shifting, or who knows what?
Way to go Rosaria! Don’t let the cranks silence you.
Pushing back against Left’s destructive agenda is tedious?
For Reformation list?
I saw Rosaria Butterfield speak in Orlando a few years ago. She has a compelling story.
I agree. I just read her book.
No, it didn’t because the MSM knows it doesn’t help their Anti-American values cause.
How the heck did that happen? And doesn't that change her tax status?
The left hates these types - people who woke up one day and realized what they are doing is gross. They get almost no coverage at all; the left pretends they don’t exist.
The left actually despises these “escaped slaves” far more than they do the supposed “Westboro” types.
lol
GRPL Ping
For those of you who don’t know, Mrs. Butterfield was a radical feminist lesbian professor. (I know, lots of redundancy in there) She had her heart regenerated by the Holy Spirit and is now married to a pastor in the Reformed Presbyterian Church. The URC is a very conservative branch of Presbyterianism.
I saw her her in Orlando, too. Ligonier National Conference?
Don’t pay attention if it bores you. This was a statement for Christ’s church in a society increasingly hostile to Christ and the biblical sexual ethic. And all it did was restate what Christians have believed for 2,000 years. The old cultural Christianity is dying. Almost by the week we see the Lord making it plain who are His sheep and who are the goats.
Here’s another new statement some of the GRPL might appreciate:
