I hear ya! But I am sandals instead. Don’t like stuff between my toes! LOL!
I put them away when my toes start feeling like they’re frostbit.
My wife teases me because I have more shoes than her. But I only have one pair of dress shoes and one pair of sneakers
Hiking boots, hiking shoes, boating shoes, cycling shoes (mountain and road). Crocs for camp wear, work boots, Winter work boots, steel toed, arctic Winter, rubber muck boots. That’s about it.

Sandals are dress shoes during summer for me. LOL!
I don’t even notice the little strip between my toes when wearing flip flops. They’re the closest thing to going barefoot and the bottoms of my feet don’t sear on hot pavement. :-)
I was hoping it would change too, but looks like the east coast and all those poor islands are stuck with it. It’s freaky strong!
My closet has several pairs of flip flops (gotta have different colors to coordinate with wardrobe. LOL), one pair of sandals, three pairs of Danskin slip-ons for winter, a pair of actual dress shoes, and a pair of saddle shoes for car shows.
Hubby has a pair of dress shoes and two pairs of work shoes he wears in the garage and around the farm. His shoes probably cost more than all of mine combined. LOL! Well, if the saddle shoes are taken out of the equation. They weren’t cheap.
H!!I guess I worked too long. Sandals are my casual AND my dressy for summer.
For the longest time we couldn’t wear any kind of open-toed shoes, so I was thrilled when they lowered the bar to include sandals and flip-flops. LOL!
What I last saw showed increased chances for it going into the Gulf, then going up the middle, maybe the west coast of FL, before eventually turning east.
It’s still too early to know what the heck it’ll do but I feel bad for everyone in it’s path. There were a couple of brief video clips from the islands and holy cow!

It was wet and cool here and we have a week of fall-like temps to look forward to. Wish we could send a little up your way to give y’all a break.
I took the quiz and it told me dress boots. Oddly enough, I have a brand new pair of Corcoran dress boots that cost me a hundred fifty bucks, but worth every penny! Sharp!
