It’s raining ash in Western Washington today.
The sun is dark red, and you can look right at it, it is so obscured by smoke.
It's already 84, but without the sun, I question whether it will get to the projected 92-95 high for the day.
I can attest to what Uncle Miltie said. A fine layer of ash was on our cars this morning.
“Its raining ash in Western Washington today.”
It sure is. Everything is covered.
Same here near the foothills. We have ash on everything this morning. Our dog took a big sniff in the grass outside and started coughing like crazy.
Same here in eastern Washington (Spokane). I have never seen it this bad for this long and there is no end in sight.
The weekend at the lake was a total bust. Who want's to go boating when can't see and all you can do it choke on the smoke.
We broke the record for both days over 90 degrees and consecutive days without rain this summer. Yuck.
Yup...
someone mentioned it to me last night being all over their car, I said What??? then this morning, I wake up and go on my porch and it’s getting covered with ash!
