There's an interesting article with interviews of conservatives at Google and other Silicon Valley companies about how they have to keep quiet and are fearful of losing their jobs. It is amazing how Libs preach tolerance, but don't practice what they preach. Liberalism really is their religion. They are in love with themselves and their own feeling of self-sufficiency. Really sad the way libs are able to suppress opposing thoughts, especially in certain industries. Everybody thinks about entertainment, journalism and academia, but this article brings up another good example. Thanks for sharing!

I hear the same thing from my Hollywood buddies. One friend, a producer who worked with Spielberg at SKG, is almost ill attending any meeting with any of these people because they just start going off on “fascist” Trump, etc.
They all tell me they feel like they are in Britain during the bombing.
All 2 of them? Probably a lot of the silly cone valley ‘bigs’ were at burning man all last week.
If they are afraid of losing their jobs, they should secure another job and then let it rip.
I’m one of them, a teacher at a liberal community college no less. I refuse to attend the Snowflake centered activities(so far not mandatory), but I do keep my mouth shut. I would be charged with a hate crime should I decide to tell folks how I really feel. I have a couple of conservative faculty friends. We meet in the catacombs to freely speak our mind.

I’ve lived it. My perception is that the California strain of conservatism, libertarian in bent, had/has a bias against traditional morality. It’s regarded as backward, irrational, and counter-productive. But morality abhors a vacuum, and leftist PC virtue signaling has been sucked in to fill it.
As windy as I heard it was out there half of the attendees will probably have COPD or silicosis in 5 years.
Now that I think of it, maybe we should start some trendy annual lib pilgrimage event at the base of a really active volcano or a low spot in Mammoth cauldera... lol

I don’t think that’s the point of the article, it refers to “lonely” conservatives, but even so, as someone who grew up in the Silicon Valley, it wasn’t a particularly liberal area just a generation ago, and lots of people, including myself, live where they live mostly because it’s where they grew up, with family, friends, favorite haunts, etc.
No kidding. You could say the same the entire state decades ago. And not too many years ago Reagan was Governor!
Now San Jose, SF, Berkeley et al are the armpit of leftist California. The entire region is jammed with leftist freaks of every description.
Indeed, which is why I really cannot understand the Paul Ryan Jeff Flake types. Liberals did not convert the population of California to their cause; they simply imported a new population. The same will happen nationwide if we let it, and their prior stance on illegal immigration will not protect them when the entire GOP is outlawed as a “hate group”. It’s just abject suicidal-level stupidity.
