The diagram on the wall says "(Hwasong-14) Type Nuclear Warhead (Hydrogen Bomb)"
It may be deliberately placed there for publicity.

This is probably on the same level as their earlier ridiculous rockets which blew up on the pad or shortly thereafter.
Whether it STAYS there is another question.

The device in the photos look legitimate for that type of bomb, they even included the physics package in the photo.

I am sure they got the appearance of the mockup right. The question is whether they can really do it anytime soon: getting operational hydrogen bomb on an ICBM.
N. Korea does what they claim eventually. However, she does make exaggerated claim way before it is real.

Like all socialist leaders, Kim Jong Whatever likes his booze, babes and barbecues.
Nothing turns the babes off like nuclear exchanges.
He can launch whatever he wants to launch but those girls will give him the nuclear freeze.

Making an operational hydrogen bomb is many times more difficult than an atomic bomb. I think the Norks are blowing smoke, as usual.

Gotta be stopped, the sooner the better.

Hmmmmmm coincidence butterball would unveil his variable yield device just weeks after the US detailed the release of the upgraded B61-12 variable yield munition mountable on an F15.

I do not dismiss this threat.... and I do not care if it just an idle threat.
#1, The construction of a thermonuclear device is not that hard once you have the plutonium and the tritium. He has demonstrated by previous explosions that he has the Pu and the 3H is easy to make. Since he has shown in the past that his boasts can come true, why not take this one at face value?
#2, If a man points a pistol at me, I am not going to ask him to prove that it is loaded. I am going to shoot him, and most probably kill him. That is the risk he took when he aimed his pistol at me. Why not take him out now, by whatever method he requires us to use to achieve success in removing him and his nuclear forces from the world stage?
The great danger here is that Kim will set one off in Mid-Pac, then say, “That was just one of the 5 I have, all aimed at you.”
Then we are truly effed from a diplomacy standpoint.

Kim will set one off in Mid-Pac, then say, That was just one of the 5 I have, all aimed at you. That is pretty much their end game.
