resident Trump said the recovery from Hurricane Harvey would be "hopefully a quick process" after arriving in Texas on Saturday to tour massive damage caused by the Gulf Coast storm in Houston.
Trump and his wife, Melania, visited a relief center and mingled with victims. The Trumps are also scheduled to join members of the Texas delegation before heading to Louisiana.
"There’s a lot of water, but it’s moving out. Most importantly, the governor, the relationship with the governor, the mayor and everybody, it’s been fantastic," Trump told reporters while touring the relief center. "We’re signing a lot of documents now to get money” and it’s “going through a hopefully quick process."
Shortly after arriving in Houston, Trump took to Twitter to underscore his commitment to rebuilding efforts. "We are with you today, we are with you tomorrow, and we will be with you EVERY SINGLE DAY AFTER, to restore, recover, and REBUILD!"

The media has become a parody of themselves. You just knew they would find some aspect of his response to Harvey to criticize.
I couldn’t believe the other day, they were saying he was going to Houston too soon. The same media which bashed Bush about taking so long to get to New Orleans after Katrina bashed Trump about going there too quickly.
The same media swooned over Obama going to Jersey after Hurricane Sandy and swooned over his photo ops with Chris Christie. But what did Obama really do? He showed up for the photo op then left town. yet the media were totally satisfied with that.
Did she don some $500.00 sneaks or stay in her Pradas. LOL! And, I can pretty much guarantee it’s hot and REAL humid there right now.
Like the photo op of Bill Clinton in a helicopter flying over a North Carolina hurricane damaged area, biting his lower lip...(He took timeout from his poker game for the photo)

Trump is always working the politics. At the beginning, he was putting on latex gloves before handling the meals to pass out. He was having trouble getting them on. He shouts out, “My hands are too big!”, a dig at Rubio. lol

She didn’t try to steal any of the limelight. Her face was almost covered with that low bill on the cap.
