The big concern here is the lawlessness of the police, and that has far, far bigger implications for our nation, and possibly even for the truck drivers family.

While I appreciate your concern for the trucker, his condition has absolutely nothing to do with this egregious abuse of police authority. And FWIW, it was reported today that as part of the trucker’s hospotalization, he had already had a blood draw in connection with his care. So all of this was moot at the time of the incident.
But next we will be seeing all the $hit about the “officer’s rights” and how they need to be “protected.” BTW, his boss has been put on leave as well now.
Believe the truck driver was unconscious. In this situation then the police had to obtain a warrant to draw his blood. The offices just tried to bully the nurse. She was legally right. YOU FIRED!
