While I appreciate your concern for the trucker, his condition has absolutely nothing to do with this egregious abuse of police authority. And FWIW, it was reported today that as part of the trucker’s hospotalization, he had already had a blood draw in connection with his care. So all of this was moot at the time of the incident.
But next we will be seeing all the $hit about the “officer’s rights” and how they need to be “protected.” BTW, his boss has been put on leave as well now.
I am not excusing police behavior but excoriating it. Their first concern should have been for the innocent truck driver’s well-being.
