Yes, it does. Because of our government’s bankruptcy, our power grid on the island is very weak and it won’t take much to take it down.

Hiya cll...Forecast models are in rather good agreement today for Irma to skirt north of PR late next week.

Currently, Irma is a rather compact storm. Wind field outward from storm's center appears to be fluctuating today between 15-25 miles for hurricane force winds, and 90-105 miles for tropical storm force winds. Hopefully, the smallish wind field will hold for the duration.
