The anti-whaling organisation Sea Shepherd will not contest the Southern Ocean against Japanese whalers this season, Captain Paul Watson has announced, accusing hostile governments in the US, Australia and New Zealand of acting in league with Japan against the protest vessel.
Sea Shepherd has been obstructing Japanese whaling vessels in the Southern Ocean each year since 2005, but Watson said the cost of sending vessels south, Japans increased use of military technology to track them, and new anti-terrorism laws passed specifically to thwart Sea Shepherds activities made physically tracking the ships impossible.

Geez. Will the band "boston" continue to raise money for high seas pirates anyway? Why hasn't the world court filed charges against these assclowns. Never mind. That's rhetorical isn't it. What's comical is more collusion theories now. Japanese whalers in a combined effort of the US, Australia and NZ governments.......

Oh well time for the old salt to write his memoirs, get himself a quaint home on the Oregon coast and tell tales of his South sea adventures to rapt young envioros before a roaring fire rocking in his chair. Well he could do it at least for a month for the coming film before he goes back to LA.

Methinks these sea hippies have been warned that their next interference with Japanese whaling vessels will end with a trip to Davy Jones’ locker.

DARMN! I’ll miss the TV shows. I’m sure they aren’t quitting. We will have to wait and sea (sic) {sea sic, lol} what they do next.
I know I’m alone here on FR supporting these leftists, but I do support them saving whales and trying to enforce the law.
They just need to buy a YUGE container ship and then ram the Japanese whaling ships. /s (sort of)

Whale Wars was great. The madcap misadventures of an incompetent, but earnest pack of Wiley E. Coyotes of the seas; never quite catching the roadrunner that was the Japanese whaling fleet. Fouling their own prop with their Acme prop fouling rope, forgetting to secure their pursuit boat to their ship, pulling in front of a Japanese ship and getting their million dollar catamaran cut in half, fun shows.

Hmmm. Did the captain “interview” some of the nubile young enviro wack-O-doodles before taking them under his mentorship? Givin’ it up for the “cause”?

Your not alone. Japan is not killing these whales for research. What they (japan) is doing is wrong.

More than I have done.

In other words, Japan has threatened to sink them if they try their violent stunts again.

Agreed. Japan is using the research loophole to supply its domestic markets. These guys were utter tools though. I wonder if Bob Barker wants his 5 million back.
