It’s not just the political parties that are collapsing. It’s the country. The news makes it sound as if we’re already fighting a new civil war. What is happening simply cannot be sustained for much longer.

It is time to simply do that great more work at the local and primary level to help put the Uniparty of Criminal Government out to pasture.

These voters are tasting betrayal. They will not vote to swallow more vomit.

Wanna bet?

What I find really interesting is that so many people talk about the economy getting better. I’m not so sure about that. Sure the numbers seem to be creeping north, but, something doesn’t seem right. I speak from experience.

I was laid off from CSX Railroad earlier this year. I was in the first batch of 1000. Around 1300 more followed. The new CEO, said to expect at least 700 layoffs before the years end. When he’s done, he’ll trim the headcount down about 10-15% to boost the profit margins. Sad, that the railroad was going to lose/turnover, about 30-40% within in the few years due to retirements. I guess Wall St and Paul Hilal couldn’t wait that long. And the company had a record profits last year.

After talking to friends and family, I find it interesting that so many people that I know, know so many that are losing jobs due to layoffs/cost cutting. It would appear that the shareholders/stockholders mean more, than the people doing the actual work. It’d be great to see one of the big shareholders of CSX get in a locomotive and get it moving down the track or weld some rail together in the dead of winter. So, at the end of the day, I’m not seeing things as rosy as others, but that’s my problem, not anyone else’s.

The “new” economy and it’s enablers, with corporate welfare to guys like Musk, to corporate welfare to Wall St, the big banks, obamacare, insurance companies, refugees, illegals, etc etc etc, are destroying this country from the inside. Housing is becoming more unaffordable, as the developers/builders with their cheap labor from Mexico, don’t pay as much, but they charge more for their products. Which, more often than not, have lots and lots of problems, right after the home warranties run out.

The only thing that could destroy this country is rot from the inside. And the cause of that rot can be pinpointed to 2 places: Washington, DC and Wall St.

This one is not even worth “pretend” Rama. They will pass it, and then they all go home “outraged!” About it.

Bunch of losers.

Where has Bozell been for the last two decades? Republicans controlled most of the Federal government and oversaw the reckless fiscal irresponsibility of the GWB administration.

Bozell is / was a “never Trumper”. After contributing to the MRC for years I stopped after he started urinating on Trump's Presidential campaign.

Not only is the RINO party a “dead dodo” but so are the phoney “conservative intellectuals” like Bozell!

I used to think that talk of the “uniparty” was an exaggeration, but that increasingly seems to be an apt description. The only time Trump ever seemed to get bi-partisan support was when he supported extending our futile efforts in Afghanistan.

No, they won't stop spending because they think that spending our money is what gives them power. If they can pass a bill that gives free cell phone to dead beats with our money, what possible reason could there be other than to buy votes? Really...that's the best you idiots can come up with to help those of us who actually work and support this country?

You people are a disgrace. 2010--"Give us the House and we'll do wonders!", so we did. 2012--"Give us the Senate and we'll do wonders!", so we did. 2016--""Give us the WH and we'll do wonders!", so we did. We've waited 7 years for SOMETHING--ANYTHING--from you inept legislators and we've got nothing. You are a waste of oxygen...especially you McConnell and Ryan!

GOP = Gutless Old Party. Nothing but a bunch of political cowards with virtually no principles, convictions or values.

Will the Republicans enact the cuts they’ve promised, or will they now be the ones to kick the can, piling evermore trillions of dollars of debt on their own grandchildren?

They'll be the ones to kick the can, piling evermore trillions of dollars of debt on their own grandchildren.

We, the people, can do with less and less money, but, they, the elitists, can't.

Trump is the right President but most of the Republicans will not totally support him. Example is McCain, the traitor. If the party can keep itself from collapse it might have a great revival in 2018 and better in 2020.

I had an RNC person call up for donations the other day. She started with the wholly disingenuous and laughable line of bull that the RNC was helping Trump to get his agenda through.

Instead of just hanging up as I had done in the past, I spent a good 15 minutes telling her how the RNC was working hand and hand with the Dems, and how they are undermining Trump and the primary candidates that support Trump.

She at least listened. My hope is that the person will tell others and at least demoralize RNC workers.

The Debt Ceiling is nothing but an opportunity for the Democrats to trot out the usual Victims and have their DNC Water Carrying Media buddies attack any Republican who utters the words Fiscal Responsibility.

Get rid of it and push for a Constitutional Amendment requiring a Balanced Budget with the only exception to running a Deficit being involved in a Declared War.

Isn’t it funny how our side supposedly controls both Houses of Congress and the White House and we are still playing defense? It just tells you who really controls the Message.

You know, funny like a Clown, the Clown in the Movie “IT”.

Way to slow for this former Republican and now Independent considering Libertarian party. Tore up my R card in 2006 when Bush gave the Congress to Piglosi and Reid, which ushered in the age of Baraq Insane and TRANSFORMATION OF AMERICA into what we now see.

Let’s be fair about this though. Both parties have far reaching issues. This last election you saw disjointed realignment. That is the best way to describe it. It is a difficult path forward politically.

The OLD Republican party ceased to exist last November. It was acquired in a hostile takeover by Donald J. Trump and is being reformed by his hands. There may be some kind of sludge left over that the NeverTrumpers can call the GOP but the old one is already dead.
