Once upon a time, there was a little boy who loved berry pies.
He would go out into the woods and pick a hatful of berries and bring them home to his Mom who would then make him a delicious berry pie.
One day, the little boy was out in the forest picking berries when a big bear stood up out of the berry bushes and said,
“Who is this picking my delicious berries?”
And the little boy replied,
“It is I Bobby the berry picker!”
Then he pulled out a Browning Automatic Rifle and put 10 slugs into the bear.
The moral of the story is.....
Bears shouldn’t be stirring up shirt in the woods unless they’re packing heat.
And Mom made the little boy a tasty leg of bear to go along with his delicious berry pie and they all lived happily ever after except for the bear.
This is almost September. In the United States we have a silly name for this period, called “autumn”. What happens in the autumn is that bears try to fatten up for the winter, because those who don’t go to the clothes closet to change their coats to those nice white fluffy ones hibernate. I read it on the Internet. They eat anything with calories. Berries are sweet. This isn’t rocket science. And Global Warming has not one damn thing to do with anything. And anyone stupid enough to think that the Grizzes don’t eat salmon is welcome to walk up to one with a dead salmon in hand and test that theory. You go first.
We have a lot of black bears around here this time of year. They eat the fruit on the trees and they love garbage. If they come after me, I will feed them lead.
What a crock! Bears have always eaten berries when they are available. They will eat salmon when they start their upriver run. They will also eat people under certain circumstances. That is why people in Alaska tend to carry rifles that make the 30-06 look small-bore.
I guess that makes them omnivores - and global climate change is the cause......ergo, global climate change was happening since Creation....but we need to stop it .....NOW!
