Don’t you know that the South is evil and so is America. If only we could all be liberals and hate would disappear.

I’ve got an idea. Since the newest trend in the left is to hate all things South, perhaps they should all just get out of it.

Not long ago I watched two Memphis black women go back and forth bidding on a Mammy doll at an auction. They both wanted it desperately. The auction took place 15 minutes from the Orpheum. Blacks are often the buyers of vintage Americana that SJW types would consider racist.

This relationship is not too far different than many rich white liberal households throughout Manhattan, many of whom have underpaid black live-in nannies and housekeepers.

Image result for gone with the wind

They don’t know nothing bout birthing babies. .......................... That was acting, she was a college grad in later years. Low profile after Hollywood, she lived on L.I.NY, not too far from Capt. Kangaroo.

I guess Joan Baez singing “The Night they Drove Old Dixie Down” should be banned as well.

Poor Mammy wasn’t paid anything, and she raised Scarlett and her two brat sisters like they were her own daughters.

The only one in the movie with any sense and integrity is Mammy!

(For which Hattie McDaniel won an Oscar, and was, I think, the first Black Person to achieve that)

The Left is STUPID, STUPID, STUPID.

Wonder if they will ever show TV reruns of THE GREY GHOST from 1957-1958.

I think we also need to ban “The Wizard of Oz.” It’s the story of a white girl and her gang, who kill a woman of color, steal her prized possession, and give it to the Wizard (which, by the way, is the same title given to the leader of the Klan.)

Anything, and I mean anything is possible. Just when you think you've heard the most outrageous claim, they come up with another one that tops it.

A group of Italians tried to protest The Godfather while it was being filmed, but they were eventually run over.

“Mammy” salt and pepper shakers are illegal to sell in some areas of Arkansas. It is OK to sell hillbilly stuff, the more derogatory the better.

I think they should update some of the outdated opening and midfilm crawl texts about the “cavaliers” and such but retain the dramatized scenes as filmed. Dropping the film completely is a bad idea, however.

First they came after Little Black Sambo.

Then, they came after Song of the South.

And The Adventures of Huckleberry Finn.

And they tore down Uncle Tom's Cabin.

Now, they are coming after Gone with the Wind.

So Trump and we, his voters, are forcing the BLM ers to go watch “Gone With the Wind!”

Poor Mammy wasn’t paid anything, and she raised Scarlett and her two brat sisters like they were her own daughters.

Probably true, but she did get free room and board, free food, clothing, medical care, etc, etc, as compensation. However, even if Mammy was treated kindly, like part of the family, as many nannies are today, it still of course wouldn't make up for her not having the personal freedom to do something else with her life, although it was almost certainly a lot better than being a slave in Africa or the Middle East then or even now, where they still to this day practice slavery. And not just slavery of the traditional sort, which is bad enough, but of the worst imaginable kind: women and children sex slaves. We don't nearly hear enough about this in the media. Likewise the efforts to (finally) put an end to it.

I didn’t know that about the salt and pepper shakers. I’m no fan of the hillbilly trinkets you find I the Ozarks and the Smokies, but not because I’m offended, but because it’s tacky.
