I agree with you. Thinking about it, rejecting nation building translates to "let Afghanistan be Afghanistan". I deplore their customs, but it's up to them to define their culture. I've always thought it would make more sense keeping Afghanis from leaving their hellhole than trying to change them.
All I care about is that they keep their customs and culture over there, and we don’t embrace and import those people here.
