After three weeks of renovations, the Trump Oval Office is complete and the last remnants of the Obama era have been removed. Gone are the striped wall paper and suede couches, replaced by more neutral solid walls and off-white jacquard couches.
Perhaps most notable are the addition of U.S. military flags that now surround the presidential desk. During the Obama years there were only two flags in the office of the Commander in Chief none of them military. POTUS Trump has brought in several more stars and stripes than his predecessor, as well as flags representing each branch of the military.
Mr. Trump also had the Obama rug removed and in its place is the same rug used by President Ronald Reagan. The only thing the same is the Resolute Desk, first used by President John F. Kennedy and several presidents to follow.(Which Mr. Obama would sometimes put his feet on.)
Here is the Obama Oval Office: (Which many noted was perhaps the most feminine of Oval Offices and which Mr. Obama actually rarely used except for prepared photo shoots. He favored a second-floor private study that was just down the hall from Valerie Jarretts office(s) )

The guest chairs at Trump’s desk are to rip up that carpet.
Bingo! I knew somebody would get the reference.
Jackson; the first DemonRAT to be elected President.
Barry’s was still better than a Kenyan hut. Where he should have been.
I agree with previous posters, the old and the new drapes were/are a nauseous color and a dinosauerian design. Horrible.

Obama could not do anything without the Iranian Lizard Swamp Creature and still can’t.
Remington sculpture?
One of the scultures looks like the “ bronco buster” Frederic Remington presented to Teddy Roosevelt.
Not sure about the hat tip though
Anybody know who it is..."The Hatless Horseman"?.....LOL.

Uh-oh - DJT has got pics of Jefferson and Jackson: Must be a waaaaaaacist!
I am SOOOO freaking glad that Obama is gone and that Hillary! is still walking in the woods, bitter as Hell. Because without both of those conditions being as they are now, we’d be in deep, deep trouble.
When it comes to this revamping the Oval Office I have my tinfoil firmly on my head. Trump should check for bugs.
Has Trump invited any rappers to the WH, yet?
I think “more sedate” is how I’d describe the decorations in the Trump redo, and for tone more sedate is what I think the Oval Office should be.
In truth, had I used Trump’s casinos as a guide, I’d expect a more gaudy tone. Even for a casino, I always thought his casinos were the most gaudy.
But, I like how the White House oval office was redon.
It would be nice to see more before and after pics on the whole White House redo.
Good grief, I can’t believe Chewbacca said that about her husband in an interview!!!
So........B.O. apparently does have B.O. and/or he farts in his sleep and reeks of cigarette smoke. Gross.

Your guess is as good as mine.
I like Trump’s version better, but I am not sure I would say that it is more masculine. The colors seem to work better, though.
I think it’s just a shame that, after 8 years of Ozero, the ENTIRE West Wing had to be refurbished! They had repaint, re-carpet and fumigate everything! They also had to replace the air conditioning and heating system, even some of the steps outside the building! What the heck went on there during the last administration? OZero should be made to pay for all the repairs.
If they did that much damage to the West Wing, can you even imagine what the private quarters are like? No wonder Trump does not want to stay there! GROSS!
My understanding was that the Obamas decorated the private quarters in African themes. I don’t remember seeing any pictures, but I do remember reading descriptions by their designer.
I think that it is a shame that Nancy Reagan took so much grief over the WH china which was purchased for the country by private donation, whereas the media had nothing but praise for Michelle Obama’s very expensive, very ugly, and very impractical china which the taxpayers paid for.
Ditto to all three. Plus the furniture is more formal and matches in Trump’s oval office.

More pictures are attached at the above thread. Go to the Daily Mail link in the article. Sorry, but I don’t know how to post pictures any more since they changed the method. Lots of pictures of the Oval office, the Roosevelt Room, and adjacent areas. All lovely, IMHO.
