only a big thing to some......................no biggy...
all have at least some opinion...
In addition, there are a lot of uncertainties in this story. These weren't SS agents, these were military people. We don't know that they were married, you are just assuming. We don't know the women were prostitutes, you were just assuming. We don't know that sexual activity occurred, you are just making assumptions. Why don't you save your sanctimonious Bull$!t until you know the facts. The article didn't even get the country right initially! Lots of servicemen marry decent women they meet in foreign countries, and lots of these women make decent wives. I find your posts offensive and racist in the extreme.
When one acts like an animal....
I did not disrespect their military service. That’s a separate issue
I don’t give a fig about you
We are talking about this specific case
The were assigned to protect the VP. They snuck women in. That tells me that they ain’t looking for someone to take home to mom
I just have to ask you if you are a U.S. citizen living somewhere else or are you a citizen of another country? I ask because you seem to have an odd edge to comments you make about the U.S. over many topics. Pretty judgemental, edgy.
I disagree about people with high moral standard not having an interest in serving in the military for that reason alone. I know many that do serve and have served. The military is not all miscreants. There are of course many excuses for not serving in the military but those I know who have served who do have high morals have managed to do just fine.
You said they were married. Have you shown that?
You said women who go to where the men were quartered are prostitutes. Have you shown that?
Those two things are what I called you on.
Since (from the very beginning) pretty much everyone here has agreed that they should not have had unauthorized women in their rooms you don’t have anyone to argue with on that point. Nobody disagreed.
So let’s go back to you calling the women prostitutes and insisting the men were married and cheating on families back home.
You do know that this issue is going to come back to you in the future right? You have asserted that women who stray are outright prostitutes and without any evidence to back that up you have defended that assertion for hours with no retraction and no admission that making stuff up like that is morally wrong.
Absolutely you will get many chances to defend this position in the future.
I am a U.S. citizen, for whatever that’s worth.
It should mean a lot.
Do you actually read anything you post?
Yes I have.
I didn’t say they were married
You want to act like a boy from the hood or any other immature teen age who hasn’t been taught better then go right ahead
Sex outside of marriage is a sin
So it would be better if they were spies?
Obviously logic and deduction are not your strong suit
Nobody said it was good that women were or were not spies.
You insisted that men who had women in their rooms were cheating on their wives. Absent any information that the men were married or even had been married.
You indicate you make this spurious claim because you practice Christian morality.
You have stated outright that women who would go to a military man’s quarters are prostitutes.
You have provided no evidence that the women in question were getting paid. Just being there seems to justify the charge and again you insist you are making this spurious claim in the spirit of godly morality.
You are merely sanctimonious and you seem to believe the scriptures about bearing false witness only apply to other people.
You seem to think that senior officers sneaking women into a secured area means they have good intentions
My life experience tells me otherwise
“He is willing to forgive, unlike you, obviously.”
I stopped reading your screed here since nothing I posted implied this. Have a nice day.
Zero people on this thread said that the men had good intentions.
People have said that there is has been no information released indicating that A. The men had wives or B. The women were being paid.
Sometimes human beings act like rabbits. Exagerating the story isn’t godly. When you make stuff up and add it to the story don’t claim God wanted you to make that stuff up.
Oh my, must have struck a raw nerve! Wonder what skeletons are lurking in your closet that you are so offended by attempts to defend traditional morality?
Too bad you were too cowardly to post your despicable hateful response in the forum for all to see, but delivered it via a private message to me.
As for going to hell, I'm afraid you are much more at risk of that than I, for it is written: "Woe to those who call evil good, and good evil." You are attacking those attempting to defend God's commandments, revealing that your description of yourself as "Seeking only the truth..." is nothing more than a farce.
Enough of your sanctimonious - yeah, the term applies to you, not those who dare to contradict you - pretension that the only warriors worthy of the name are those who engage in unrestrained sexual immorality. Many veterans on this forum would take issue with you.
The judge in my case started out saying he was not there to harm anyone. When he came to my case he said “No children, pensions are not an issue, why are you here?” I agreed with him but again she would not settle.
The two things that I smile about are that she got less than I offered her, and her son, my stepson is my buddy. When I go to the US I stay with him. He almost married a girl that had a daughter, he said he tried to treat the daughter like I treated him.
The idea that a “drunken screw” is every soldiers right is not only immoral it violates all sorts of regulations>>>>>>
I did not see anyting about drunken screw in the article, but then, I guess you know more than I do about things like that.
In any event. Americans are free. If they want to violate their marriage vows without breaching their service duties, who cares? That’s between the soldier and whoever. None of my business, or the governments particularly.
That’s why they were not court marshaled, but re-assigned by the little old ladies in charge of the Pense knitting security club.
Americans should not date foreign women, who know how to still be women, unlike the American version of anorexic genetically challenged flappers./S
Hardly worthy of a headline.I am all for our soldiers marrying abroad. They get a far better deal.
This issue has nothing to do with marriage views. It has everything to do with national security — on many levels.
