And you thought Floyd Mayweather vs. Conor McGregor was going to be the biggest brawl this week.
Miguel Cabrera of the Detroit Tigers and Austin Romine of the New York Yankees absolutely went at it during a Thursday afternoon game in the Motor City.

Miggy has had a bad time since leaving AZ
I don’t think I’d want my older, brittle of late $30 million man involved in something like this.
I can’t see any reason the Yankees pitcher would intentionally hit four players from a team out of contention in a different division. Cabrera is having a bad year (starting to show his age) and stressed about his home country. In other words, he flew off the handle. He’ll get the biggest fine/suspension, Legend in his Own Time or not.
Words of wisdom indeed.
Oh bullshit, that was nothing more than a bench clearing wrestling match between two players who may have been lucky to land a punch on each other...........
More fake embellishment of crap from ESPN...........
Re: 20
Thank you.
Dodged punches and executed a fairly good double leg take down... bet you money I have more experience than you and I read/saw the interaction correctly and you read it incorrectly.
I’ve sen better in curling or synchronized swimming. just having fun here.
2 players from each team were hit. Now, I’m hearing that Cabrera wasn’t hit, but the ball was thrown behind him.
One of the announcers said this all spilled over from a couple of plunkings in a prior Tigers-Yankees game.
Yep, after the gang pile on Cabrerra........
Oooh aren't we impressed.
Yeah, the article said they threw a pitch behind him..
“It happened during the bottom of the sixth inning of the game, when the Yankees threw a pitch behind the Detroit slugger. And then Cabrera shoved Romine, and took two heavy swings with right hooks at the Yankee catcher.”
Why? It would help your cause if you would support your statement with examples.........
Not one on one it wouldn't............
by the time of the melee, your guy already had his lunch eaten
Because I always look to inane "commedians" for analysis of sports ... or anything else.
Chronic injuries have a tendency to do that to a player.
If he could stay healthy he would be one of the most dominate players in baseball..........
Cabrera was trying to stand as far away as possible and thus couldn’t connect on his punches. He may have touched the catcher. Catcher then wrestled Cabrera directly to the ground and had him where he wanted him. Then everyone else jumped into the fray while all yelling “hold me back”.
I liked when Nolan Ryan beat the crap out of Ventura. No BS there.
