Born and raised in Rochester, NY. Never stationed North of Myrtle Beach and settled in S. MS. I can vouch that the author is absolutely correct. Over the last few elections, saw many Blacks with stickers/posters for our side of the aisle even against Obama. Also see many who are salt of the earth folks who believe in working for a living.

Yes. I travel the USA. I am from Alabama and I never hear the racist bs like I do from those up north. Been this way for 30+ years. I’ve had blacks tell me the same.

Ohio!!!

Who cares. I always say “wait, so disliking wide open borders, welfare for illegals, and affirmative action makes me a racist Nazi”? Ok then fine I’m a racist.

Something most of our Boomer Politicians are scared to do

Dylan Roof and this Alex Fields are from Southern states, Fields moved to Ohio from Kentucky in the last two years. I guess one can make a case about McVeigh; but his crimes were against all people.

Demographically, Southern States are going to go minority-majority, Texas now, next, Georgia and Florida are almost there, Tennessee, Mississippi in the future. Should have happened years ago, but arrogant critics gripe about Chicago and Detroit when the CW caused it. Could have happened 125 years ago if folks were not hellbent on denying others the right to vote.

All this author offers is anecdote. Nothing solid to prove his assertions.

The Klan? What a joke. Show me the “Klan” and not some bull Soro’s funded website. I mean people gathered together.

Having spent my entire life in the Midwest and the south for all practical purposes the Klan does not exist.

It is very easy for the objective person to see the majority of racism in this country is racism toward so called “white people”.
Ever heard of the NAACP? How about the “Black Caucus”? The “Black Panthers”? The “Black Lives Matter”?

All of this current talk about racism, slavery, the Confederacy, etc, etc, is a distraction from what the media and progressives do not want you to pay attention to such as the continual stream of evedience of government corruption and assault on Liberty.

My personal experience says this is true.

The two very worst acts of overt racism I have seen with my own eyes occurred in Ohio and Michigan.

Did not see that in Alabama, Savannah, GA or North Florida.

I lived in Mississippi for a bit back in the mid 70s, and went to elementary school there.

The first thing that got my attention was that blacks and white were bussed in on separate busses.

But overall, black students and white students got along fine, I had black friends, and we thought nothing of it.

Desegregation didn’t force people to move. Of course the buses were largely segregated because the neighborhoods were. That’s true of just about anywhere, even still. At this point, absent any sort of compulsion, one might logically conclude that most people prefer to reside in areas with neighbors who are much like themselves. Or, conversely, one might conclude without one shred of logic or evidence that in so doing they’re somehow racist.

I’m a yankee (actually a country girl who happened to be born in the Bronx) and I accept all people on a case-by-case basis. (I love that line in “Family Man”). I think I learned do that in Sunday School. I have brothers and sisters (most I have not met) from all nations, tribes, peoples, and languages.

I have a friend, who is black and a veteran. Told me the funniest story about him having a visit for an old army buddy for somewhere up north. The buddy (who was also black) came down to NC for a visit and they were on the front porch right before dusk. My friend notice that his buddy was getting nervous the closer to night fall. He asked him what is the matter? The buddy replied don’t you think we need to get in the house before the klan comes out.

Wow. That would be funny if it weren’t so disturbing. Did he actually think the KKK is alive and well in the south, and roaming the streets? Absurd! I’m in TN. Never saw, or heard, anything to do with the Klan.

Most social groups I’ve seen, or joined, are completely mixed with every race and religion, and every person is just that... a person like every other person.

I’ll admit that I’ve met some old-timers with archaic, but not extreme, opinions of blacks, but they’re few and far between. They keep to themselves and would never, EVER, engage in violence of any kind.

My state and federal LEO relatives in NC tell me that at least half of any KKK-ish group is FBI or state police.

My friend told me this was in the late 70’s early 80’s. He would laugh at him told him nothing to worry about. My dad said growing up the kids would play together, no issues. Even black and white farmers would help each other in harvesting crops. Yes there was and is a KKK but not every one from the south was or is in it.

“I’ve been saying this for two decades”

Lived in Mississippi, Virginia and Texas. Race relations have always been better in the south...even at the time of the war of northern aggression.

We now live in the South after escaping California. Your comments are spot on re blacks here. We have hired several of them to work on our house. They are largely conservative, very respectful and great workers. All of them expressed dislike for Obama because they said he was dividing the races.

I’ve lived in both the North and the South and I totally agree.

There are black people, and there are black angry race-hating bigots.

There are white people, and there are white angry race-hating bigots.

There are brown people, and there are brown angry race-hating bigots.

Most of us are just people, with varying skin tones. The leftist liars in Big Media ignore us, and focus on the angry race-hating bigots. It’s almost like Big Media WANTS race-based anger, division, and strife. If they can’t find any they’ll manufacture it.
