President Trump on Tuesday all but promised to pardon Joe Arpaio, the hard-line former sheriff of Maricopa County, Ariz., who became a national symbol of the campaign against undocumented immigrants, and whose round-’em-up raids have landed him in legal trouble. “I’ll make a prediction — I think he is going to be just fine,” an angry and defiant Mr. Trump told a campaign-style forum in Phoenix where he abandoned scripted remarks and launched into a half-hour tirade against the news media. “But I won’t do it tonight because I don’t want to cause any controversy.”

“But Sheriff Joe can feel good,” Mr. Trump added.

Excellent!

I understand that doing it at the rally would have been a distraction, but I hope and I think he will do it soon.

Go, Trump, MAGA!

Twas an impressive rally. I went over to CNN and they had turned all their microphones and cameras off.

He needs to pardon him.
As I posted earlier, he needs to do it, if for no other reason, than to spit in the face of the communist Left.

I think it was a good time, connecting with his base that way. Trump knows how to talk directly to us. We haven’t had enough of that lately. And yippee for Sheriff Joe.

after the rally...cnn must have been watching and listening to another speech. They said he was lying by omission.... what he didn’t say was lying. These idiots are dangerous and are traitors. They would b+++h if someone gave them a gold ———.

As an avowed cannot vote for him type, now I must say I really like the guy. Second go round I do plan on voting for him.

Big change for me, but he is keeping his word where most of Congress has proven they dont.

Their argument is that he was suppose to ONLY condemn the Neo-Nazis, KKK etc.

Pardon Joe Arpaio and pardon the Bundy Family and all those involved in the Bunkerville Standoff in 2014.

The failure to convict four men today their second time on trial should send a message about that case.

Ping to Trump just about promising to pardon Sheriff Arpaio and it making the NY Times, which normally tries to ignore this story.

“The Damned dishonest media”. He really laid onto them. Spent some time on how they spun the riot in Va.

Thanks for the ping. Trump is doing far better than I thought he would a year ago.

Pardoning Arpaio ought to be done, if for no other reason than to bitchslap activist judges and lying media. I want to see them melt down.

It should also be done because it is the right thing to do.

Paraphrase- He got convicted of doing his job. Then he was not able to get a jury trial.

From the speech he gave last night about Afghanistan, he seems to be taking on an attitude of not letting the enemy know exactly what he plans to do.

So ...
