I will never forget while visiting Mom when the boy was young...

We are awakened by much racket and cussing at 4:30 AM.

I looked at the boy, pressed one finger to my lips and motioned “follow me”

We crept to the door and cracked it open.

There was Mom chipping wildly at the burnt sugar from some overflowing Peach pies.

I said “Mom what’s all the clatter”?
She said ‘you gosh darn kids!’

I calmed her down, we chipped it all out and I made her breakfast LOL

The boy was chagrined.

I’ve been very impressed with Rush’s sub yesterday and today: Todd Herman from Seattle. Very refreshing new voice of conservatism, as others have said here. His opening yesterday about the leftist insanity currently going on in Seattle, and how “it’s coming to you if you don’t stop it” was absolutely jaw-dropping. Love his insider/outsider info re the Washington DC Swamp, too.
