Yvette Felarca, the Berkeley area school teacher and militant left-wing protester responsible for organizing the riot at the University of California, Berkeley in February 2017, claims that violence against the far-right is “not a crime.”
Felarca, who belongs to “By Any Means Necessary,” a far-left group, is currently facing assault charges after she was caught on video assaulting a white supremacist during a July 2016 rally in Sacramento, Cali.
The school teacher and her compatriots engaged in violent clashes against members of the far-right Traditional Worker’s Party, which had a permit to march in the city. The violence between the two groups resulted in a number of assaults and multiple stabbings. In July 2017, police charged Felarca with “assault by means of force likely to inflict great bodily injury, participating in a riot, and inciting a riot.”
As reported by Huffington Post on Wednesday during her arraignment, Felarca described her actions as a form of self-defense, and therefore “not a crime.”

It seems to be the case that radical leftists believe that the majority of people actually support them and their goals, but that they are too intimidated by the regime to speak up. And if the radical leftists pave the way by bravely attacking the tools of the regime, the oppressed people will rise up in glorious revolution against the regime.

I hope you’re right, but the media has been trying to define us for a long time and in their world, they think they’ve been successful. Pro abortion has become pro choice, while anti abortion has become anti choice. But I think they’ve been less successful here recently. Before widespread alternative news sources, President Trump would have been long-gone by now. According to them, everything that he says is a lie and they repeat this several times on the evening news, but fewer Americans are believing them.
The MSM is in full out assault of anything conservative, and is labeling it as Fascist, Racist, and evil. The hope is the American public will get upset and turn on Trump, and anyone conservative.
The MSM controls the audio, they control the video, and most of the sources of news and commentary. They are flooding the airways with “fake news” and covering their compliance with the Left in trying to destroy our American Republic.
The real challenge is educating these idiots on the left that there aren’t just two choices.
Many of these morons actually think the only choices available are either Communism or Fascism. And since Hitler was a Fascist and we fought against Hitler while allied with the Communist in the USSR, Hitler=Fascism=Bad, therefore (in their minds) USSR=Communism=Good.
At the same time they have been told/indoctrinated to think that the USA=Imperialism=Slavery=Bad.
What other conclusion would we expect from a simple minded person?

I’m always amazed that Communists get a pass, while Nazis and Fascists are the scum of the earth, even though more have died at the hands of the former than at the hands of the latter. Wearing a Che shirt is fine, but a Hitler shirt is unthinkable. Both are vile and evil. Two groups of thugs show up at a rally with clubs, bats and shields, yet only one group is condemned and saying that they are both wrong is considered blasphemy.

That's the reason for the demonetization of the Founding Fathers. If they're evil, that invalidates any of their works, including, but not limited to, the Constitution and the Bill of Rights.
Many in government, and most on the left, see the Constitution as a hindrance to their ability to usher in the "Great Age for Humanity." Remember Obama complaining that the Constitution was a document of "negative rights," limiting the "rights" of the government, and what government was allowed to do. This is frighting, but it's the mindset of the left. The Declaration of Independence is something they actively hate and try to undermine, because it defines citizens and a government responsible to them, as opposed to rulers.
Never mind that every time they've tried it in the past has been a disaster for humanity. That's the appeal of being a leftist. "It's not that your ideas are wrong, it's that every time someone before you tried implementing their plans, they just weren't smart enough. But this time, you can do it."
