Could be.

There are many more truly sicko out of control scary kids in school. Don’t know if that’s due to parents’ who abused prescriptions or lack of discipline or what.

It’s also “popular” to have a child on meds. It’s also common that mama sneaks the kids’ meds for her own use without anyone knowing. Not saying some kids don’t need meds but the vast majority don’t, imo.

Could be that kids are inside 24/7 with all sorts of chemicals affecting their brains and no fresh air.

Instead of developing through a childhood or adolescent phase these drugs are often given to those who do not need to be on them and they are prescribed without any “exit strategy”.

Medicated kids, medicated adults, medicated seniors. BAD news.

HOORAY to unmedicated citizens of the U.S.A.

Troubled children are merely amplified projections of their parent's personality disorders. Medicating them is another form of shaken baby syndrome; smothering a crying infant instead of paying attention to find out what it's crying about. Parents send their kids away to school instead of having the patience to pay attention to them and raise them themselves. This rejection and separation causes emotional trauma which strangers (the statists) take advantage of. Drugs are only a temporary, sure-to-fail method of compensating for the tremendous internal imbalance caused by uninvolved, failing parents. That's that part of it I see having gone through and recovered from it personally. That's where the conservative workaholic class have failed their families and society. This doesn't address the insurgency of communism in the U.S.

That’s a good question and one I hadn’t thought of.

We may very well be seeing this.

The fatherless generations have grown to be monsters.

My son turned age 31 this week after earning his MBA at UT Dallas in marketing the year before and just completed his first stellar year doing marketing plans for a major beer distributor in the Dallas area making more than I did in my last job when I went out on disability at age 50 17 years ago.

He finished high school in Plano TX in the disciplinary locked unit reserved for the druggies and mental cases, because he was both!

He was also incapable of functioning in an academic setting without being properly medicated for his severe ADHD.

When he finally settled down and after being tested for his attention disability (and going off his meds and going to Hawaii to pick pineapples for a semester before wising up) in Collin Community College he earned straight A’s and was awarded a full scholarship for 5 semesters at SMU where he completed his undergraduate degree in business with honors.

So, yes, kids can be on Ritalin/Adderall for years and survive. My son is very spiritual, brilliant and successful considering all that he has been through!
