A CEO who bailed on President Donald Trumps now-defunct American Manufacturing Council imported workers to take jobs in the United States. Intel CEO Brian Krzanich left Trumps manufacturing council after he disagreed with the response to the violence in Charlottesville, Virginia.
I resigned because I want to make progress, while many in Washington seem more concerned with attacking anyone who disagrees with them, Krzanich wrote in a blog post. We should honornot attackthose who have stood up for equality and other cherished American values.
But, as Trumps manufacturing council was set up to bring back manufacturing and jobs to the U.S., Intel has been doing just the opposite since 2013.
Since 2013, the Intel Corporation attempted to import more than 8,000 H-1B workers. At the same time, as Breitbart News reported, the company under Krzanichs direction laid off 12,000 Americans last year.

“Sounds like a big hypocrite to me.”
Yep. According to his bio he joined Intel as an engineer in 1982. So, he was able to stay at the company and climb the ladder, yet he denies other Americans this opportunity. I would be he’s survived there because he’s a backstabbing political opportunist.
There have been very good CEO’s at Intel.
Andy Grove and Paul Otellini were great.
Andy lived a simple life, drove an old beat up Merc that smoked.
Worked just as hard as his people.
Paul understood that Intel’s customers are its future.
Piss off the customer base and they will go elsewhere.
Paul got the deal with Apple.
It was an honor to work for both these fine men.
Craig Barrett and BK were both process men.
They really thought that all you needed was to tweek the process with the right knobs and everything would be perfect.
Both remind me of Paul Ryan.
Way out of their league but too controlling and self-centered to listen to anyone.
I do, too.
Intel was one of the first companies targeted by “Janitors for Justice” back in the 90’s, which eventually morphed into SEIU.
Even then, under the Great Andy Grove, they tried to avoid bad press and surrendered.
[The administration needs to make public ALL H1B requests.]
Exactly. Public notices
I am totally with this. Make foreign workers more expensive. Sounds constitutional since the CEOs still have a choice.
I like that idea.

31. Facebook, Inc. - Facebook CEO Mark Zuckerberg launched an immigration reform lobbying group called FWD.us. The staff of FWD.us was initially led by Joe Green, a college friend of Zuckerberg and the inventor of a Facebook philanthropy-giving app, who had previously worked on John Kerry’s Presidential campaign. In September 2014, Green’s lack of success at achieving immigration reform led him to be replaced by Todd Schulte, who had previously served as chief of staff at Obama re-election Super PAC Priorities USA Action, which is led by Hillary Clinton 2008 campaign political director Guy Cecil and includes David Brock on its board of directors. Brock, with input from Hillary Clinton and support from wealthy Democratic Party donors, is currently leading an effort to impeach Donald Trump. Facebook’s lobbying for immigration reform supports the company’s dependence on employees with temporary H-1B visas, estimated to form 15 percent of Facebook’s staff. Microsoft CEO Bill Gates and other tech industry leaders also support FWD.us.

Maybe Donald Trump should Let Louis Lerner of IRS fame, help our President by giving your List of cos. who dropped Ivanka’s line a lesson In IRS Moves.
Yes, “equality”
As in “equality” of “OPPORTUNITY for jobs”
Where the foreign animal is more equal than the American one
Lyin hypocrite
Just say no to more H1-B visas.
They take jobs from Americans who can and will do those jobs quite well.
Intel wants foreigners over Americans.
Not good.
Glad he bailed. These are not true USAian companies.
I was looking for job, 99% recruiters were making calls from India.
Idiots have no idea of US geography or culture.
US citizenship was big NO for them.
Once again, Trump was right. He may be verbally “inartful” but he said that those council members were not hiring US citizens and he was right.
Their names and numbers should be published on the White House website and with ones like Intel . . . tweet them out . . . make their names well known to the American people and expose them and their un-American business tactics.
