Vice President Mike Pence compared President Donald Trump to former President Teddy Roosevelt, who believed white people were “the forward race.” Speaking on Tuesday, just days after violence at a white supremacist rally left one person dead, Pence made the unfortunate comparison between the U.S.’ 26th president and Trump. “In President Donald Trump, the United States once again has a president whose vision, energy and can-do spirit is reminiscent of President Teddy Roosevelt,” Pence said in comments reported by Guardian correspondent Ben Jacobs.

Well, that does it. We’ll have to dynamite Teddy off Mt. Rushmore. Jefferson too - he owned slaves and had a black slave mistress. The left says going after Washington is ridiculous - so store that dynamite for when they change their minds in a couple of years.

But then they go and pick on something Roosevelt may have also said at some point, which is irrelevant.
Pence did NOT make a comparison of Donald Trump to Teddy Roosevelt’s statement that “white people were the forward race”. That is Newsweak putting those words of Teddy Roosevelt into Trump’s mouth. Fake journalism.
How many racist comments are on the record coming from the mouth of LBJ, or even FDR, yet would Newsweak ever make a comparison made of some Democrat today to LBJ or FDR as if that Democrat was in agreement with those racist words of LBJ or FDR? No.
Why? Why not, when doing so would apply the same kind of standard? The media’s CONSTANT double standards.
