A federal grand jury Thursday indicted two former information technology (IT) aides of Democratic Rep. Debbie Wasserman Schultz Pakistani-born Imran Awan and his wife Hina Alvi on four counts of conspiracy in the U.S. District Court for the District of Columbia.
The FBI arrested Awan at Dulles International Airport July 24 as he was preparing to board a flight to Pakistan. When his wife Alvi left the U.S. for Pakistan in March, federal authorities found more than $12,000 in cash hidden in a suitcase. She had withdrawn the couples three children from local schools and does not intend to return to the U.S., according to the FBI.
Defendants AWAN and ALVI did unlawfully, willfully, and knowingly conspire, combine, confederate, and agree with each other to commit offenses against the United States, including bank fraud, false statements, and unlawful monetary transactions, the indictment said.
An arraignment date has not yet been set, and a spokesman for the U.S. Attorney for the District of Columbia did not immediately respond to The Daily Caller News Foundation Investigative Groups question about when Hina Alvi would become a fugitive if she does not return to the U.S. voluntarily, or whether officials would seek to extradite her from Pakistan.

Awan retained Chris Gowen, a longtime aide to former President Bill Clinton and former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton, to represent him shortly after his arrest.~~~~~~~~~~What does that tell you?

I doubt the wife will ever see the inside of a US courtroom. Didn’t Comey’s F.B.I. allow her to leave the country? No surprise there.

Bank fraud. It tells me that FBI is letting them skate on other charges and that they are not talking

Hillary and Congressional Dems on the take from foreign powers hostile to the USA. Hill’s server and the Awan ring were ways to allow transfer of classified information to the highest bidders while not directly transmitting the info themselves.

Why are crimes like bank fraud considered “crimes against the United States”?
To: mandaladon
these charges are all financial. Not the meaty stuff. I think if its only financial thats pretty much whitewashing the whole thing.

Amazing to even see someone indicted who has a Clinton Crime Machine lawyer. If the past is any indication, we only see the tip of the iceberg.
There are probably at least a hundred lawyers, paralegals and legal researchers frantically working this case on behalf of Imran Awan's gang. There are probably at least 50 private detectives working to research Grand Jury members, Congressmen, prosecutors and anyone else involved to get some blackmail on them or see if they can be bribed.
For instance, lets say they can bribe or blackmail an evidence room guard? There's probably a team on that. There's probably a huge public relations propaganda team as well.
The Clinton Crime Machine is not as big as it was with DNC in power but even it's remnant is no doubt a massive corruption juggernaut.

It was the congressional credit union and federal employees pension that were defrauded.
Yes, Daily Caller uses stupid blogger headlines that detract from the very serious work they’ve been doing recently. Not to mention the 125 trackers on their web site.

Since these statues were up during all eight years of the Obama Administration and ANTIFA never said anything.....
It’s almost like these ANTIFA people are being paid to raise a ruckus to try to cover something else up.
