ROANOKE, Va. (WDBJ) The contractor that maintains EBT services for Virginia's Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP) is experiencing multi-state service problems.
This has resulted in an EBT System outage.
It is unknown when the system will be restored.
SNAP clients can call (866) 281-2448 to check on the status of the system restoration. Clients can also call 2-1-1 to learn of food resources that might be available to supplement their needs during the temporary outage. Also, clients can call the Enterprise Customer Service Center at (855) 635-4370 with any additional questions related to their benefits.

Someone needs to design an EBT app for their Obama pnones that will alert them when the EBT machines go down. So they can avoid the embarrassment of having a cart 2/3 full of junk food checked through by the cashier but then comes PAYMENT DECLINED!
It’s has happened in one geographic area, and was limited. For the most part in tiny areas and that’s it.
I’ve never this large across the country. The timing is quite remarkable.

They’re always the people with the most loaded carts, conveniently shopping on weekdays when the tax donkeys are working. They have tons of expensive meat cuts, junk food (and 8 gallons of milk because, WIC).
Because what family DOESN’T go through 10# of steak and 8 gallons of milk a week...

Oh gosh. I have a Save a Lot story, too - my first time in one.
It was something I overheard in the first aisle. But not appropriate for a family friendly site without redaction.
I CAN tell you, as I parked, going in to kill a little time before I went someone else, some gal drove up and started yakking with some guy and gal in the car that pulled into the lot in front of me.
She was saying something about gunshots - don’t know what. I just kept moving on into the store and ignored them.
They passed me and then blocked the first aisle for a sec. After moving out of the way, they went past me again.
They were maybe 6-10 feet ahead of me when the older gal tells them to pick out any (redacted) thing they want. If you were on the first 2-3 aisles, ya heard her. Classy.
This kinda matched another statement by her a minute earlier - also in the store.
Yep, they wuz honkys - just like me. And quite classy I might add.
