In one of the biggest 2018 premium hikes sought to date, Iowas only ObamaCare insurer is looking for a 57 percent rate increase thats 13 percent more than they asked for just two months earlier.
Its a troubling trend thats been spreading across the country as jittery insurers stay stuck in a holding pattern waiting on Congress and the Trump administration to decide the fate of the Affordable Care Act.
President Trump has at different times encouraged lawmakers to let ObamaCare implode, pushed his party to repeal and replace the bill, admonished his own party for failing to do so and supported a repeal-only bill.

That will be the media mantra for the next 8 years.

It’s going to be blamed on “uncertainty of the future of ‘healthcare’ during the current political climate”
In other words, on Trump.

waiting on Congress and the Trump administration to decide the fate of the Affordable Care Act Reminder to the writer: Obamacare passed without a single Republican vote and (fortunately) the RINOs did not replace it with Obamacare Lite.

Why not?
Why not 257% increase?
Hell, why not a 1K % increase?
There is no competition so why not?

Make sure we still call it OBAMA Care.
Give those voters what they voted for when they elected Democrats.

Some friends of mine have to buy their own insurance. They were on the Obama care mandate, as that was the only plan they could get.
Now their company is dropping out.
They work for a small employer that doesn’t offer insurance, supplemented by some small business ventures.
It is starting to bite hard.
