Trump's attacks could leave him friendless if impeachment comes
Reuters ^ | August 17, 2017 | by Richard Cowan

President Donald Trump has stepped up his attacks on Republican senators, an approach he may regret if he is someday impeached and the Senate has to weigh charges against him stemming from an investigation into Russian meddling in the 2016 U.S. election.

More than half of the 11 Republicans on the Senate Judiciary Committee, which would be central to any proceeding to remove Trump from office, have tangled with the Republican president, including on Thursday when he fired off early-morning tweets.

There is little serious talk being heard in Congress about removing Trump from office.

The Left Media Cartel does not report the news.

They report what they want to happen.

The Senate has never voted to remove a sitting president. Although there are many reasons for this, a partial explanation involves the uncertainty that a move to unseat a properly elected president would invite. What if a president simply dismissed the calls for his removal? What if a large portion of the population viewed the move by the Senate as illegitimate? What if the move invited a Civil War? If there is a disagreement between the branches, which side would the military pick?

If you wait until Nov 2018, you’ve waited too long. The time to fix the problem is in the primary elections.

Add FNC to that mix. Under the leadership of Rupert Murdoch’s inferior sons, they’re now channeling the garbage Snopes site by declaring the President wrong about General (black jack) Pershing in the Philippines (this is in regards to the recent Barcelona terrorist attack). I’m not so sure the President is wrong about Black Jack’s actions to quell guerrillas in the Philippines back in the early 1900s. I don’t believe Snopes on that or much of anything else.

“Friendless”. EVERYONE always discounts the sixty some odd million that voted for Trump. Oh, and...impeach him and those Antifa pussies will look like cookie baking old ladies.

There will be a government shutdown - no continuing resolution - Trump is setting them up to face the wrath of the American people like never seen before, getting all the blame. Daily more and more Americans feel as I do about Senators - If given the chance you should spit in their food.

So, other than feeling "insulted" by the President and being all huffy-puffy about it, what "high crimes and misdemeanors" do they imagine they can convict him of?

These morons need to back off. They can't imagine what fire and fury they are playing with when the American People decide they have had enough of this petty bullshiite threatening the genuine health and liberty of the Republic and our Constitution...

I wish President Trump had more Deplorables, loyal supporters from the very beginning of his campaign, on his staff and in appointed positions. He can’t trust ANYONE who has drunk the DC Swampwater.

Al-Reuters making yet another delusional and premature victory announcement. These guys are driving that little clown car at a brick wall just as fast as it can go and fantasizing they’re about to win the Italian Grand Prix. Impact will be fun to watch.

Incumbents lose any advantage they have when the president drops in to campaign for the challenger. President Trump is setting them up to bring the heat. We've seen how he campaigns - they will get in line or they will experience primaries like never before.

Get ready Republican Senators we are coming for you.

The House and Senate will also face consequences if they do.
Cause and effect does not sleep nor does it pick favorites.
