Has the media ever so deliberately and consistently misinterpreted what a president said?
It certainly seems as if the media finally found its proof that President Trump is a racist. ABC News coverage was all too typical:

In teaching, a good way to get thoughts into not totally attentive minds is to repeat it three times.
That Mika whacko on MSNBC publicly stated that THEY should be telling us what to think:
“Well, I think that the dangerous, you know, edges here are that he is trying to undermine the media and trying to make up his own facts. And it could be that while unemployment and the economy worsens, he could have undermined the messaging so much that he can actually control exactly what people think. And that, that is our job.
They are determined to claw back a majority of us; they have to adjust their tactics to deal with tech-savvy people (like Trump) who completely circumvented them.
First Salon and now The Hill? This is YUGE!
Maybe, just maybe, there is still hope.
Yes. They have changed his words. They made this about Trump from day 1.
Prediction: there will be another mass demonstration in the next week or so, probably over removing a statue, and the leftist agitators will go there and deliberately cause violence: firebombing, deaths. The media will shove a microphone in front of Trump’s face and do everything they can to trap him in his words.
If that one doesn’t work they will try again after 1-2 weeks. They are trying to kick Trump out of office.
Social Media and Youtube are the Dems/Media/Hollywoods’ greatest enemy.
They lie, Patriots PROVE it was a lie and spread the word.
I've always thought the same of The Hill.
But in this case I think they had a couple honest female reporters on scene, one who noted the violence from the Left in an early (and since disappeared) account, and another who got the quote from the LEOs that the driver of the car was "frightened, not angry."
My concern is they may be fooling honest people that dont know they are lying. Its up to those who know they are to get the word out.
The quality of Democracy will never exceed the quality of the press.
