Curious that he's doing this. Other articles claiming that Pence has cleared his upcoming schedule. I sure hope Trump isn't saying "To hell with this s**t!" and thinking about leaving. With the assault he's been under, who would put up with all of it if they didn't have to?

CNN uses this type of lede template all the time:

or

They just participate in creating a controversy, then fill in the blank as other events occur. The “Current-event-occurs” phrase will tend to change at intervals. But whatever is happening, it always happens “Amid Trump Controversy/Scandal”.

Many days in advance, everybody knew exactly how Saturday would play out.

Why was Trump and the entire White House staff so unprepared?
Even if you don’t know exactly how it will play out, you prepare in detail PLAN A, PLAN B, PLAN C, etc.

To me, his lack of preparation was worse than the words or lack of words that came out of his mouth.

trump told the truth on purpose. it was exactly these kinds of statements that got him elected, and the reaction of the GOPe-Democrat-Enemedia Complex was exactly the same then: “trump is a white-supremacist, racist, KKK minion. etc.”, only THIS time around trump permanently knocked them off of their “russian conspiracy” meme; after this LATEST “trump is a racist” attack dies down, it’s doubtful the enemedia will try to revive the dying embers of the “russian conspiracy”.
