I am confronted with this issue right now. They are having a Freedom of Speech rally in Boston. I would consider going under normal circumstances, but I won’t.
If I were to go, I fully expect them to be infiltrated by leftists posing as an unsavory element to foment violence, and violence to ensue. That is a guarantee, in full complicity with media and politicians.
This is how they are stifling freedom of speech. Conservatives disagree vehemently with the messages of leftists, but we universally agree they have the right to protest if done legally. That is not reciprocated left to right in any way whatsoever.

I would be wary of attending, as clearly in the case of Charlottesville, city and state aided and abetted the Communists. Too easy to become fodder for a Bolshevik Beatdown while the cops watch. I’d recommend a day at the range instead, :D
All those videos have been lost. Somebody forgot to put film in the cameras or someone opened the darkroom door while the film was being processed.

The problem with pushing back and exposing them is that it does absolutely no good, and this boils down again to the media being in the pocket of the far left in America.
I agree with you completely it is a galling proposition, but I have no idea how to counter that. Slander and Demonize are two key tools in the Leftist toolbox.
I guess for me, it is that quote attributed to Winston Churchill “A lie gets halfway around the world before the truth has a chance to get its pants on” is as true as it gets, and by that time, people aren’t in the least bit interested in the truth. If it is on the news, it is true...and this is true for many, many people still.
