I find it more than a little odd that some fast-food cook from a dive in Berkeley, CA would travel all the way to Virginia for an alleged "right-wing nationalist" demonstration.
Why would anyone go from Berkeley to Charlottesville for this protest — especially someone with the budget of a hot dog cart employee?

I’m pretty sure there’s a California labor law prohibiting the firing of an employee for engaging in political activity. It was passed during the Vietnam era, mainly to protect teachers who were being let go for participating in anti-war activities ...

There is no more thorough blacklisting and McCarthyism than that employed by the Hollywood left. Hollywood has made bank on exploiting McCarthy in film and yet it is very commonly well understood that Conservatives are aggressively blacklisted.
