The tweets are designed to push MSM buttons, or bait them, and they always fall for it.
The tweets of May 18 are of particular interest. The WAPO assured its readers the first tweet (4:52AM) was simply an attempt by Trump to express his displeasure with the ongoing investigation into “Russia-Gate” by the special counsel.

The WAPO, along with most people, including myself, assumed the term “witch hunt” was being used metaphorically, which is how it is usually used, especially since this is not Salem, Massachusetts 1692.
The tweet takes on an interesting context if read literally though; not metaphorically.
Hillary is the witch, or at least she seems to have witchy characteristics. Allegations of witchy behavior aside, from a cursory Internet search, Bill Clinton said with seriousness in 2012,
"I know that because, as all of you famously learned when I served as president, my wife, now the secretary of State, was known to commune with Eleanor on a regular basis," he said. "And so she called me last night on her way home from Peru to remind me to say that. That Eleanor had talked to her and reminded her that I should say that."

In light of the context of the tweets if interpreted to be literal, President Trump could be indicating Hillary is under investigation. This would be easy to dismiss if the tweet alone lacked any other context. It does not though. Hillary’s crimes are numerous and varied. There is plenty to investigate, from the Clinton Foundation Money Laundering, to the thousands of missing emails, the shafting of Bernie, and the sale of Uranium to the Russians.
If Hillary is under investigation for all or even some of these crimes, it would be;

No this assualt on Trump was planned way in advance. From getting Sessions to recuse himself, to the meeting with Trump jr to a democrat appointing a SC when no crime was committed.

Mueller would not have hired Hillary’s lawyers, including the one who smashed her phones and other devices, Jeannie Rhee, if he were investigating Hillary.
They would be WITNESSES to Hillary’s wrongdoing, not prosecutors. What Mueller is doing is covering up and removing evidence of all of Hillary’s crimes first— and he needs the vital info these people have to do it.
