RUSH: Grab sound bite number 22. I checked the email, and people didnt believe my Hank Johnson story. I can understand if youre a Millennial and you werent here back in 2010, its seven years ago when Hank said this. If you didnt hear it, I can understand that you might not think Im lying, but that nobody would say that, what Hank did. Well, he did, and it was during a House Armed Services Committee hearing. It was during testimony about the 2011 defense budget request, and this is Hank Johnson, Democrat, Georgia, and Admiral Robert Willard of the United States Navy.
0:03 / 2:03 Guam will Capsize and Tip Over into the ocean Hank Johnson
JOHNSON: This is a island that, at its widest level is, what, 12 miles from shore to shore, and as its smallest level, smallest location its seven miles between one shore and the other. My fear is that the whole island will become so overly populated that it will tip over and, uh, and capsize.
WILLARD: We dont anticipate that.
RUSH: That was Navy Admiral Willard saying, We dont anticipate that, Congressman. The island tipping over and capsizing. Dont doubt me, especially those of you new to the program, Gen Xers, iGen, Gen Y, Millennials, dont doubt me.
The look on the admiral’s face was priceless and the vid tells more than the mere words.
Probably, but none of them would be so unmanly as to try and claim it. :)
We were blessed with our Fathers.
And they are not eligible for a Purple Heart since the injury was not suffered in combat. (Although having to deal with Demonicrats could almost be considered fighting against the enemy.)
“...One fella already tried that You cant handle the truth thing...”
Jack Nicholson doesn’t count... :^)
Yes, I believe the Democrats have long been hostile to the Military. :)
