In a ceremony in Tehran on Monday, a senior Iranian parliament member praised the Iranian Jewish communitys ties to the state and its obedience to Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei and Ruhollah Khomeini before him.
The Islamic Republic News Agency published a series of photos from the ceremony, part of which was held at the grave sites of the Jewish soldiers.
Iran, a home for Jews for more than 3,000 years, has the Middle Easts largest Jewish population outside of Israel, an estimated 20,000.

It doesn’t look like Jewish or Christian children were used as child soldiers during the Iran Iraq war — the child soldiers were under the Basij, an Islamic group who wanted Islamic martyrs, not infidels.
