The City of Chicago is engaged in a legal battle against the Trump administration over the Justice Departments policies towards sanctuary cities, and theyve hired a firm thats quite familiar with the President. Well, his family, anyway.
The city is being represented by the law firm WilmerHale, with one of the attorneys on the case being Jamie Gorelick. Yup, the same Gorelick who up until recently was representing Jared Kushner in the Russia investigation, and still serves as his counsel (and Ivanka Trumps) for issues including security clearance and ethics compliance. Gorelick also served as Deputy Attorney General under President Bill Clinton,
Chicagos case against the DOJ requests that the court block Attorney General Jeff Sessions from enforcing policies that would deny federal funding to cities that do not allow federal officials to access local jails, notify the feds 48 hours before releasing wanted undocumented immigrants, or share immigration information with Washington.

Her fingerprints are all over the Fannie Mae-Freddie Mac mess, which is to say the mess that is central in the entire mortgage-housing crisis.
But it doesn't stop there. She managed to be on the wrong side of the Duke LaCrosse case.

.....it’s a wonder she’s still vertical....
she made a killer salary (26 million salary, bonuses, performance pay and stock options from 1998 to 2003 ) from Fannie Mae.
This is also the law firm (WilmerHale) that Mueller(partner) and his top aid resigned from.
She ain’t his lawyer anymore. He got a new one
Gorelick might have served under Al if he won in 2000.
Might be better off doing something useful.....
It was reported that she isn’t representing him in the Russia investigation but is still their attorney in all other matters. Corrupt as they come!
Wilmer Hale is a huge multi-national law firm with offices around the globe and in most major U.S. cities. With thousands of lawyers, I doubt every one of them work with Gorelick on every matter they are engaged in.
That being said, she is scum.
