On Friday, Michael Savage -- conservative talk show host and Berkeley Ph.D. in nutritional ethnomedicine -- referenced Nathaniel West's classic 1939 novel about the burning of Los Angeles, The Day of the Locust, to describe what will occur in the USA should Trump be brought down by his assorted "Globalist" enemies.
People will “resort to mob violence” when they “are finally aware of the fact that they’ve been tricked by their society, and that no matter how hard they work as middle class people” they are denied.“That is what’s going to happen in this country,” Savage said. “You have not yet seen mob violence in this country. You’ve seen some mob violence instigated by George Soros’ mobs. … But you haven’t seen the thing I’m telling you is coming in this country. You haven’t seen the ‘Day of the Locust’ yet.”
"Deplorables" gone wild and burning down our cities? Civil war?
Savage seems to agree that the common man, whom he names Eddie, would not be amused: "And if [the left] take(s) Trump down, through (Special Counsel Robert) Mueller or through any other source and deny Eddie his vote, there will be a civil war in this country.”
As is well known, Savage, a onetime pal of Allen Ginsberg and other Beats, is now considered by many to be a "conservative extremist," therefore a fringe personality from the fever swamps of conspiracy land. Nevertheless, he is the no dummy and is the author of 40 books on subjects as disparate as Alzheimer's and beer-tasting, not to mention economics and politics. Few of his critics have anywhere near the vitae.

I have TRUMP 45 Vanity Plates on my Car. I live in Southern Orange County, CA and I’ve had them for about a Year.
Up until two weeks ago I had a few dirty looks and just a couple of people flipping me off, but that was about it.
Within a week I was accosted by a nutso Mexican Dude at a Costco Gas Station, a Black Guy telling me the Mexican guy was “right” as I was pulling away and some Dude yelling out Trump Sucks when I was leaving the Parking Lot.
This is the former Conservative Southern Orange County, not East Los Mexicos, uh Angeles.
Me thinks the DNC Media’s tactics are taking hold, but I still have faith when someone gives me a Thumbs Up or walks up and tells me they love the Plates and take a picture.
My Wife is getting increasingly worried about my Safety and my Car’s paint job. Hard to believe this is the America I always though it was with these Liberal Nutcases out there.

At some point, individuals hit their personal limits and make personal dramatic change. Notably, comes a point where a great many do so all at once for often unclear reasons but to dramatic cumulative result. I may have much of the litany of obligations you note, but there is always an alternate life I can roll over to at short notice - maybe at great personal cost/disruption, but I’m among the productive that can start over at a moment’s notice and rebuild wherever - and relish the process.

Everybody expected to win quickly. Conflict didn’t end for decades.
Don’t expect a fast win. Romanian Term Limits rarely work.
I see such a divergence in values, political extremism, importation of cultures anathema to traditional American values, self-destructive inner city youth, who often poison the liberal minds elsewhere, I simply cannot see how we can continue.
We almost must have a civil war or separation under threat of civil war to survive as a nation. Does anyone think that the snowflakes that we see so offering rioting and protesting are going to tamp down the rhetoric? No, they have all but come out and called for the extermination of anyone who disagrees with their socialist agenda.
When (not if) it happens, if you are in the inner city without a plan, you will be dead in short order. The police will leave when it gets too bad, the military will either not be able to muster in a timely fashion or will be under their own internal stressors. The thin veneer of civility will quickly erode and barely continued animus will finally be released in one bloody frenzy.
When the predominant demographic in the urban centers has killed all who could not flee or were too foolish and stayed, they will realize there is no food and no relief coming. They will come to the awful realization that they will have to venture out into “Indian country” and it will be a bloodbath when they do. One must also be cautious in suggesting that just because one side has most of the guns and ammunition that it would be an easy victory. Only if the urban centers are surrounded and die on the vine. Urban fighting is the most casualty producing fighting there is.
Even when militaries that have discipline and a point to retreat to try a breakout, rarely is it successful. There will be no long miles of refugees, no pass of good conduct afforded.
If the MSM and the internet stir crazies were to be shut down for several days, no.
