WASHINGTON The Republican Party should have done more to shut down the birther movement that Donald Trump led, one GOP senator said Sunday. I wish that we, as a party, would have stood up, for example, when the birtherism thing was going along, Sen. Jeff Flake (R-Ariz.) told NBCs Meet the Press. A lot of people did stand up but not enough. Long before he was a presidential candidate, Trump led an effort to discredit President Obama by doubting he was a US citizen. Obama was born in Hawaii.

But it is why so many people from Hawaii have English first names. Sam Choy, Israel Kamakawiwo'ole, Daniel Akaka, Benny Agbayani, Benjamin Cayetano....
Now if he was born in Hawaii and his mother named him "Barry Obama" that would have passed muster. But not Barack.
No clerk would have registered him with that name.
+1
He will also reveal that he’s gay and a muslim.
Keeping quiet about it must be killing him.
Keep talking you flake - you’re digging your own grave!
Bol!
FUJF
That did happen. However,I believe that the lion’s share or at least 99% of the credit should go to the American hating parasites that voted for him along with the self hating Whites. I doubt if 1/1000 of 1 per cent were fooled by the muslim son of a bitch. Most voted for him because of their hatred of America and all things American.
I forgot about that. Yes, they did! Loud and long. What a joke. A horrible nightmare of a joke.
Shut down political opinion, how? Legitimate or not, how do you do it.
I think our system works beautifully. There may be issues to discuss, and which have been discussed over the years, relative to incitement to violence and overthrow of the government. But if Barak was born in Africa? That's an issue? If I think President Trump was born in Golden Pond, thus his hair, so what.
I recognize Senator Flake is talking only about the GOP, but I'm comfortable applying the Constitutional standards to the GOP.
Disclosure, I do think political parties should have more control over their nominees. But then we wouldn't have had candidates Paul (Ron), Sanders or Trump.
Donald Trump didn’t “lead” the so called Birther Movement, and what does the GOP have to do with what a PRIVATE CITIZEN thinks or says?
Blame Obama’s Grandmother or Obama himself, since she said he was Kenyan Born and I believe it was Obama himself who penned his “profile” in the Harvard Year Book saying he was Born there.
This POS is on Trump every day.
The people I knew who voted for Obama were willing to take the chance. They thought maybe the hope and change was real, and Obama was genuinely the fix for the problems the country faced.
I also saw many of these same voters grasp the truth and realize their mistake—in some cases it didn’t take long at all. Most people, for example, saw Cash for Clunkers as a stupid government boondoggle from the get go.
The MSM fooled a lot of voters on Obama’s behalf, but history is slowly but surely catching up with him.
“””””
We all know that everything about Obama is a lie.
Hes not a natural born citizen, and I seriously question his actual citizenship, I also question his loyalty, and want to know why he and the wookie surrendered their law licenses.
“”””””””””””””””””””””””””
If you question obammie or the wookie you are clearly a raciss.
“You could give them any middle name and last name you wished but their first name had to be English.”
A page from the Hawaii birth index would appear to show this statement to be correct, with very few exceptions:

It’s not something that I was aware of, either. The exceptions on that page are:
KAM. LUSI. BRAULIO.

Sen. Jeff Flake, you are a ______ and a _______ who ought to be ________ because you’re obviously part of ________ and are nothing more than a ________ covering for Obama.
Soooo, was Obama lying then, or is he lying now?
I mean we all know he’s a constant liar. I mean on just that one narrow subject.
[ I see why he’s named Flake. ]
Jeff Flake.
From Snowflake, Arizona.
Ya can’t make this stuff up.
I try to make this point to people. When a pathological liar tells you something, and the actual evidence suggests they’re lying—believe the evidence.
So simple, only an Obot could fail to grasp it.
Best thing I can say about Jeff Flake is that he is not the worst senator from Arizona
So absolutely stupid. If they were right (which they aren’t), they should welcome open debate. In open debates facts come out. If they were right they should have openly debated it and proved why they were right. You only have to “shut down” open debate when you know that you are wrong.
