WASHINGTON The Republican Party should have done more to shut down the birther movement that Donald Trump led, one GOP senator said Sunday. I wish that we, as a party, would have stood up, for example, when the birtherism thing was going along, Sen. Jeff Flake (R-Ariz.) told NBCs Meet the Press. A lot of people did stand up but not enough. Long before he was a presidential candidate, Trump led an effort to discredit President Obama by doubting he was a US citizen. Obama was born in Hawaii.

We hope the people understand now but only the next election will tell us for sure and we are also turning blue due to all the retired leftists moving here to get out of CA or left leaning cold weather states. Add in all Hispanics and we have a real problem holding the red line. Texas has the same problem. What's with that anyway? The libs move out because they don't like the crazy taxes/exorbitant cost of living but can't figure out everywhere they go the same thing happens eventually. It's like they have a little turd stuck in their buttcrack and can't figure out why no matter where they go there's always a stench.

If John McCain’s brain tumor could speak, he would reveal his name was Jeff Flake.

The Republican Party should have done more to shut down the birther movement that Donald Trump led, one GOP senator said Sunday.Hillary Clinton started the Birther Movement in her run in the primary against Obama. Her minions put this out to the media so her hands were not contaminated with it. The real hell of it, she may have been right.

Conversely, if the Republicans had held their fortitude, they could have forced the issue and kept him out of office according to the Constitution. Barack Obama was born in Kenya. His grandmother said so. I believe her.

Better yet, have Alabama or Texas choose your senators, you seem unable to make wise decisions.Alabama only please, we have John "Republican Elite" Cornyn as our Senator.

Since we had Republican gains in Congress and a Republican President, I have to ask, what difference does it make at this point?
