But Mexico, the source of endless legal and illegal migration to the US, refuses to teach English in its schools. Yes, they are that jealous and stupid. So TX spends billions trying to teach Mexico’s children, many of whom are illiterate in both English and Spanish. Those children are an anchor to our test scores, of course.

Idiot article! Of course we need one main language - anything else cause divisions, isolation and disadvantage. We need to get rid of all of these “press 2 for another language” controls and stick to one unified language and culture.
Guess what, Miami Herald: 90% of the employees at my mother’s retirement home are immigrants and “people of color.” They ALL speak English, and some speak it very well.
