Idea of Democrats funding anti-abortion candidates draws ire
Associated Press ^ | August 5, 2017

The proposal seemed modest in today's polarized political climate: The head of the Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee suggested his group might help fund candidates who didn't share the party's support for abortion rights.

The backlash from abortion-rights activists and organizations was quick and harsh. The basic message: Don't go there.

More turmoil in the Democrat party - seems they don’t really believe in anything except getting re/elected. The more division, the better for us.

"The DCCC should not be supporting any politician who does not respect a woman's right to control her body," said Karin Roland, of the women's rights group Ultraviolet. "

This is the great divide in more ways than one. The DNC, the DCCC, the Democratic Senatorial Committee, and the Democratic Governors Association should be supporting any candidate who is properly nominated, usually in a primary, by his local party organization. Their Republican counterparts should do the same. The question is this: does a political party reflect its voters, or does a party elite impose its will? This is just another example, one of many, that shows that the Democrats are no longer committed to representative democracy. They really, really want to be a Leninist Party.

The Democrats need to get rid of superdelegates. And term limits are needed by both parties.

Dems have run phony pro-life candidates to knock off vulnerable Republicans in States or Districts with large Catholic populations. The repulsive Bod Casey, Jr of Pennsylvania. He was used to counter pro-life Rick Santorum, but does nothing more than provide cover for the rabid abortionists in the Dem caucus. He voted in January of this year to protect Planned Parenthood from cuts.

It should draw ire, from everyone. It’s totally cynical. Democrats don’t let their pols vote for themselves. Even if they’re elected as pro-life, the Dems will tell them they have to vote for the slaughter of pre-separation infants.

Imagine the outrage if Republicans said they were funding pro-abortion candidates.

“”The DCCC should not be supporting any politician who does not respect a woman’s right to control her body,” said Karin Roland, of the women’s rights group Ultraviolet. “”

If a woman has the right to control her own body, wouldn’t not having an abortion also represent control? Every Republican should run on the right to choose theme. And every time they say they are pro choice they add, “And I choose life.” Now in ads they can say the Democrats choose death. And for good measure add in, and over the last 10 years they killed 5 million babies.

Within a year, the entire abortion movement will vanish. That’s how you win wars.
