Get in line. cal has the most serious criminal public officials. We have the chair of the assembly bragging that half his family are illegal. Homeland security should track these comment, initiate investigations and start locking people up. Why do the powerful in this country flaunt laws like they do? because no one has the balls to arrest them. Look at the clinton crime family and you don’t have to wonder what these others are walking around free after their law violations get people killed and raped.

The POS should be trying to save his city’s citizens from the twin onslaughts of domestic and foreign criminals.

I think I have a win-win here. How about the FedGov get completely out of the business of giving any city ANY money at all! “Dear Mayor Putz, Washington is completely out of the business of giving your PD any money whether or not you’re a sanctuary city.” You’ve made your bed, now you can lie in it, and you can lie in it without any money from Uncle Sugar.

Reminder: A few years ago Arizona tried to enforce our immigration laws (because Obama wouldn’t). Obama filed suit and the Supreme Court ruled that immigration policy falls under the Federal government. It seems to me that, by extension, cities would be as unable to set their own policies as Arizona.

You have to remember, that there are no consistent criteria in the liberal universe.

The criteria change based on whatever the liberal view of an issue is.

so, in the Arizona case, the liberals who are in favor of illegal aliens and amnesty, argued that the federal government, and not the state of Arizona, has supremacy over immigration and dealing with illegals.

In the case of sanctuary cities, the liberals will argue that the individual cities, not the federal government, have supremacy over immigration and dealing with illegals.

It’s all about what advances the liberal position. Liberals have no consistent standards.

Isn’t this typical. The little ballerina is complaining because he wants to do things inconsistent with the Constitution, but at the same time, he doesn’t want to be punished for it by the feds keeping their own money from the non-supporters.

Go stomp your foot Raul.

Feds keeping their own money

uh no

The feds don’t have any money. They broker our money and dole it out as our agents.

Some inhere said there should be no money to locals. i agree. If chicago contributes 1% to the feds, then let them keep the 1%, eliminate federal administrative costs and let chicago adjust taxes as needbe. As far as cam concerned despite trumps initiatives, he doesn’t propose to go far enough.

Actually, I think Trump should’ve file suit against them.

Actually they should be arresting them, they are violating several laws.

The State of Washington, where I live, was into a discussion about education revenues and the feds about 15 years ago. I put forth a question on these boards asking why do we give an amount of money to the feds with a question, so they can send back about 10% of it with an answer as to how to do something that we end up funding to get it done anyway? But by their funding about 3% of the education needs nationally, it opens the door for them to have a say in our education that they should have nothing to do with so they can’t flood the minds of kids with “I have two mommies” or transgender thoughts to children less than 10 years old. I said at the time, give them half of what we were paying them to shut up, and apply the increase to local resources and treat it like a n answer fee saying that’s what you get. Take it or leave it.

Yes control. When i wa sin 11 grade we debated national subject at all the tournaments. “Should there be federal aid to education.” I always wanted the opposing side because it seems so obvious then.

I have read the feds spend 25-27% on administrative costs for money that assent to the states. What ever it is it’s too much. At least they don’t use the Clinton Foundation LOL
